We have been a continuous Starbucks customer for years and for the first time experienced this awful treatment out of state in NJ by an employee who also calls herself one of the managers at this Starbucks location, Hartford Corners, 1340 Fairview Blvd, Delran, NJ 08075.
On Saturday March 1st, 2025 my husband and I drove pass this area and stopped by at this perticular Starbucks. The drive thru was pretty backed up and we had to be somewhere so I decided to go in and ordered a drink. I ordered a Dragonfruit lemonade to go with light ice and an extra scoop of Dragonfruit berries. I always order this at any Starbucks I go to.. It's my favorite drink. I've never had any issues from any of the locations I've been to. The lady at the register seemed nice she's one of the managers I realized it later. She had like a dirty blonde hair, she was polite.
I gave my order to her then I waited for my order by the end of the counter along with others. People who came after me kept getting called for their order leaving with theirs. I waited patiently for awhile and finally went up and asked one of young lady, she had long hair in small braids. I asked her if my order was ready, she replied no I need to make it and she continues to make other cofee orders. I then said people who came after me got theirs and left, can you please make mine I need to be somewhere. She replies well you need to be patient just like others. So I wait and wait after she made few other orders she finally makes mine and rudely keeps it on the counter. No apology for the delay or nothing. Her body language, her tone everything about her was incredibly rude.
As I grabbed my drink I noticed strawberries in my drink and I said, excuse me I asked for Dragonfruit lemonade not strawberry. The same girl replies and says "well I just made what was ordered you need to take it up with the lady at the cashier you ordered from." I was like excuse me... Why can't you just make me another one which I ordered. Why do I need to speak to the cashier... She goes she's a manager and herself is also a manager. First of all I don't care who the manager was, I didn't ask for a manager.. I just wanted a drink that I ordered. I can understand the order probably got entered incorrectly by the cashier and she put in strawberry lemonade instead of Dragonfruit. Mistakes happen I can totally understand. But all she had to do was just say that it was a mistake and make another one. That's good customer service. After I requested her to make another one and make the order right she says we'll you have to wait just like others. Be patient and wait I'm busy with other orders.
She was not only rude but was very dismissive. The other two girls were making the drive thru orders. They saw what happened. It's very disappointing.
I don't know how she was made a manager, she was incredibly rude and dismissive, no accountability or apology was offered, no explanation other than the fact that there was no effort or attempt made to provide any polite customer service; instead, I was made to feel unwelcome for no apparent reason.
I was so disappointed. I didn't have time to talk to the lady at the register/cashier to ask for this young lady with the braids name or explain what happened. This world already has enough unkind people, we don't need anymore. She should be held accountable for her rude behavior and poor customer service. It's an insult to Starbucks. Read moreThe worst starbucks I have ever been to!! I normally do not come to this Starbucks at all but I was in the area and wanted a caramel ribbon crunch frap I was literally given milk and ice. I came around the drive through again and they remade it for me, again milk and ice the taste was horrible, color was off. I proceeded to go inside cafe, they remade it again, still sucks. Here come super hero I guess he is the shift supervisor, well he should be retrained because he lacks professionalism, customer service skills, management skills, the list can go on. I asked for a refund and he states that I can leave now and go else where? So I told him your kicking me out ? This man goes and flinches at me as if he wanted to do something to me haha silly right. Then I told him its in starbucks policy to remake customer’s drinks until they are satisfied with there drink or food item, he then states “what do you know about our policy, you dont know our policy” he was so disrespectful and ignorant. Very poor customer service and respect to a paying customer who is paying top dollar for drinks. I will never be returning back to this starbucks. He should not be a supervisor if the attitude and ignorance is happening from him. I then asked for his name he said I do not need to know his name.. cool so I asked for the store managers card he said theres none so I asked for his/her name he stated thats none of my business I can call another day and figure it out. How nice STARBUCKS of the people you have working for you and representing your establishment. Well you lost a regular customer who goes to starbucks everyday if not twice a day. I will not give my hard working money to a business who does not show respect to paying customers especially someone who flinches there face and hands at me. Read moreI go to this Starbucks location pretty often it is the closet Starbucks between my daughters school in Willingboro and my job. Some days I leave this Starbucks extremely happy. But the service and the drinks are very inconsistent. I don't understand why to be honest. I worked for Starbucks for 3 1/2 years and it is nothing like when I was employed there. It's like the Baristas don't care about how they make the drinks or how they respond when you informed them your drink order is wrong. The shift supervisor in this location has a serious attitude problem. Why can't I get whipped cream in my drink? Why must it be a liquid white substance like shake the canister where is the training at. Do they even train anymore and if you make a mistake or don't make it right just do it over don't role your eyes at me don't huff and puff don't whisper to your coworkers just Hear Empathize Apologize and Take ownership stop getting upset when I say it's wrong. I don't get upset I don't yell I don't get disrespectful and yet I have to feel bad when I say my drink is wrong or I just leave and throw it away bc I don't want to deal with the attitude with some of the workers. I wish I could get the schedule of the workers that are so sweet that make my drink exactly the way I want and my breakfast. The manager should have a serious customer service sit down with the workers and remind them that this is your job. You choose to work at Starbucks just like I choose to get my coffee there. If you don't like to deal with customers than do not work there. It's a good job with good benefits and your getting paid I pay for my drinks and food and I should be able to get my drink made to order and my breakfast made to order. Stop the attitude stop making drinks wrong. Starbucks has a standard and everyone at this starbucks is not following it.
