Todd Marcus Birds Exotic — Attraction in Delran Township

I don't even know where to start with How amazing this place along with their employees are. I will try to keep this story as short as possible. There were 3 baby conures Running around in a parking lot in Philadelphia. Instantly I wanted to save them! captured them and gave them food and water. They were dirty scared had feathers missing and clearly did not have food for a little while. As I looked at how choppy their feathers were I got very concerned they might have beak and feather Disease. I am a parrot owner already. I have a conure and a macaw... So you can see my dilemma I was terrified to expose my birds at the same time could not let these babies die. I spent from 9 o'clock in the morning till 6:30 at night on the phone. Calling every vet and Animal hospital in a 3 hour radius. 49 phone calls later no one was willing to help me. They wanna a $170 per bird just to be looked at. My last phone call was to Todd Marcus birds. An amazing gentleman name Matthew answered the phone. At this point I'm very annoyed and very distraught. I told him I need a better answer than what I have been given all day long. I explained my story and how I wanted to save these birds are also needed to know they would not put my birds at risk for disease. Then this ANGEL FROM GOD Put me on hold for a brief second and told me to bring them up... Then off to New Jersey I went. They Genuinely love and care about birds. As a pulled up Matthew and another kind lady... Which I feel horrible for forgetting her name but I was filled with such excitement and happiness... Came out to my car and examined the birds 1 by 1. I got the amazing answer a prayed for... They did not have beak and feather disease they were just stressed. Told me what was wrong with each and every one of them. How to care for them.. then the lady sent matt inside to get her glasses and clippers... She trimmed all their nails for me❤ Refused payment. Was just being a kind human being. I am forever grateful and I owe them the world. My 50th phone call To Todd Marcus place was heaven sent... After the employees taking their time and dedication to these birds I had brought... I took my 7 year old daughter inside to check out the place. And well..... absolutely beautiful very clean, and every employee was so kind. Not only did they spend their time with me outside. Once in the store they took the time out to tell me about each bird what their personalities are like what they are known for ect... We got to play with different types of parrots. My daughter pretty much had a learning experience field trip there. Have not seen her that excited and so long. I'm sitting here A-day later and still trying to find a way to thank them because words are not enough ! Once again ANGELS. If you want a good experience or want to get a beautiful healthy bird this is the place to be! And never in my life have I met a staff in any type of business as wonderful as these guys were❤ I will forever go there for any type of bird accessories I need the trip is...

A little over two years ago I walked into Todd Marcus birds exotic I was just looking around. I saw the macaws and said to my husband I would love to own one but I was afraid . One of the employees heard me say that and said for me to come see the babies so I did . the employee asked me if I would like to hold the baby and I said yes she was very helpful . I sat down on a chair and a she placed the baby macaw on me in a towel . I feel in love . All the employee worked with me and thought me how handle my new Blue and gold.macaw. if I ever had any questions someone was always their to help .As Bobby Bu grew older I would take him in the toy section and sit on the floor and play with him. The store is always so clean so I never had a problem with that. After bringing blu home I went back to the store to get more food and feel in love with another blue and gold his name is Arrow .he just turned two in June. .Last Dec my house heater went down and Todd came to Pa.picked up Blu and Arrow and bored them for me so my babies would be safe . I love that I can go on vacation and not have to worry I bored them my birds whey are well taken care of and when I come back to pick them up the are Groomed for me. . So my thoughts are if your looking for a new best friend look know further , Great people ,Clean store , huge selection of toys and healthy...

My review is currently based upon a tragic incident that is most likely not the fault of Mr. Marcus' Exotic Birds. My baby Eclectus passed away during the process of being weened at Mr. Marcus' store, he ate some bedding and it got compacted in the crop and he passed away. Mr. Marcus has reached out to me regarding several questions/concerns that I had, and though our philosophy may be slightly different, it's clear that Mr. Marcus cares both about the parrots and his clients. Mr. Marcus follow through has been exemplary, during this difficult time.

Communication from Todd Marcus Exotics has been once per week recently as he gives me updates on new clutches that come in; he's personally called me from Alaska. I also purchased a Kings Cage from them and Mr. Chris (store supervisor) was very professional, sent me an online payment invoice quickly and sealed the deal with efficiency; much appreciated...the delivery of the cage took less than a week!!!

I've yet to pickup my new bird, and thus my review is ongoing for Mr. Marcus' Exotics! The more I interact with them the more I believe this was a "one-off" incident...we'll see how the handoff goes with the new bird. If he's healthy and well socialized then this review will become a 5 Star and I will personally write a letter of gratitude to Mr. Marcus for all of his efforts, and that...
