First, service was very warm and professional. I ordered the chicken kebab. What I loved: warm bread with seasoned olive oil and delicious dried olives to start (they gave 3, with two people at the table. We didn’t fight over it. He graciously let me have the odd one). Then they brought out chicken kebabs - two large pieces which were juicy and perfectly seasoned. I was expecting whole chunks of chicken, but one bite, and I wasn’t disappointed in the more chopped/formed version. Yummy. Read moreOn The Grill is one of the popular Turkish restaurant in New Jersey. It’s located in Delran, NJ and not far from Philadelphia. I went there with my friend almost two years later. I was very impressed because the food quality and taste of the food was much better than before.
My friend and I ordered lentil soup and it was really good. We shared kofte kebab (Turkish meatballs) as an appetizer and it was very delicious and I just loved the flavor of the meatballs. The main course we both had mixed pide (Turkish style pizza) and it was extremely delicious. The crust and the balance of the toppings were just perfect. Their pide was much much better than before. Their portions were very generous too.
The restaurant is very small, but they have outdoor seating also. The atmosphere of the restaurant is just average. They need more improvement for the decoration of the restaurant. It was very clean even they were busy. The service was really good. Our server Mehmet was very friendly and nice guy.
Their prices were very reasonable too....
