An Unforgettable Dining Experience Rating: ★★★★★ From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we felt like valued guests. The option to choose our seating was a pleasant surprise, and the warm welcome set the tone for an exceptional evening. The drinks were the first highlight of our visit. Crafted with precision and care, they were nothing short of perfection. Each sip was a delightful journey of flavors, leaving us eager for what was to come. My choice from the "build your own" pasta menu was the spinach noodles with lemon Alfredo, garlic, heirloom tomatoes, and salmon. It's safe to say that this dish redefined pasta for me. The freshness of the ingredients and the harmonious blend of flavors created a culinary masterpiece that I won't soon forget. My husband opted for the southwest brisket pasta, with a twist - he substituted brisket for meatballs. The result was equally impressive; it showcased the restaurant's flexibility and commitment to accommodating diners' preferences. As we savored our extraordinary pasta dishes, the ambiance added another layer of enjoyment. The music, accompanied by captivating videos, added a unique and entertaining element to our evening. It's a rare find to have both great music and visuals in a restaurant. However, the highlight of our night was the delightful conversation we had with John, the mastermind behind the bar. He not only crafted our cocktails skillfully but also made us feel like old friends. His warmth and engaging personality enhanced our overall dining experience. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem, and we can't wait to return. The combination of impeccable drinks, exceptional food, and friendly staff, particularly John, ensures that we'll be regular patrons. One last mention, the cheesecake was the absolute best we have ever had. So creamy and such a great ending to our meal. If you're in search of a dining experience that goes beyond expectations, this place is a must-visit.

Wow, what a surprise this restaurant was. We were just out running errands and decided we wanted Italian for dinner. Our search led us to the small restaurant on the Denton Square. What a great experience. Totally funky inside. Perfect service. Really creative drinks. Excellent food. We can’t wait to have friends join us on our find. We are pretty sure it will be new to them because 100% of the clientele on the evening we were there was college aged or in their early 20s and we are far far from being that. Still, good food and service is good food and service. We started with drinks. I had an About Last Thyme. I admit that I had never had anything with Cucumber Jalapeno Tequila and Thyme Liqueur before. A few other ingredients and this martini style drink was great. I resisted drinking it down in one giant gulp. My wife had the Sangria Loren, a bit of a switch from a typical sangria that is made with red wine and hibiscus liqueur, plus fruit and prosecco. Another great drink. On to the food. Lots to select from, so we will be back. We started with an excellent house salad which was mostly arugula – no complaints there – and a flavorful dressing. We then shared the Tomato Bruschetta which was one of the better Bruschettas we have had anywhere. For the mains, my wife had a Personal Pesto Margherita Pie. Perfectly prepared, well-seasoned, crisp and flavorful. It really was a one-person pizza and there was nothing left over. I had the Rasta Pasta which was a fettuccini pasta tossed with jerk seasoned alfredo sauce and topped with jerk seasoned pulled chicken. This had just the right amount of spicy kick for me. Only complaint was it was over sauced with it swimming at the bottom. If you want a hole in the wall (in a good way) with excellent food and service, come here.

Finally!! I’m a culturally Jewish Native New Yorker (well.. Yonkers but it counts!) who grew up eating home-cooked Italian meals and pasta at the homes of my friends, family and various romantic interests. I loved and miss J&J’s like every good Dentonite, but when my wife told me about Graffiti Pasta and I took a look at the menu, we couldn’t get there fast enough. It didn’t hurt at all that we learned that they’re going to continue with basement shows. And that they have a full bar. This place is exactly what the square needed. Delicious, authentic East-coast style Italian food prepared and served in a laid-back but somehow still upscale environment by friendly and enthusiastic staff. I had the ziti, which was the best ziti I’ve had since my former-NY-girlfriend’s Italian grandmother would cook entire trays of it for me. We shared a side of meatballs and they were fantastic. Their house marinara is so good I wanted to sneak in the back and steal the recipe, the garlic knots were fresh and hot - crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I had a sangria cocktail that I couldn’t pronounce then (or remember now) but it was a refreshing and sweet compliment to the food – I had three. My wife had the Pasta La Flor with shrimp, and the bite or two I had.. the tortellini was just right, not too dense, not too light. Whatever magic the owner is working in that kitchen, please keep it up! And I’m looking for your mom’s cheesecake to show up soon, let’s go!! We’re absolutely going back, and I really can’t recommend them highly enough. Get in there soon and Support Your Local Restaurant!! Denton needs more spots like this. Mangia!

My friend and went here a couple weeks ago for the first time. Both of us immediately loved the place and we can't wait to make it a regular for our get togethers.

The atmosphere was quiet and settled. We didn't have to scream or raise our voices to be heard, considering its a bar & restaurant right on the square we were prepared to do so. However, this was not the case as the music playing in the background, was quite enough to be forgotten about. The music sounded like a mix of new and olidies pop, rock, and everything in between. My friend and I sat at the bar, where there was a screen playing the music videos of the songs playing. Definitely a place for relaxing and catching up with friends.

The bartender (he said his name was John) was friendly and knowledgeable. I told him that I only liked a couple specific drinks, and that I hated strong fruity flavors and alcohol, and that I was hard to please when it came to drinks. He however said he "got me". Turns out what he got for me was a special drink he made himself that he called * Blueberry pie* And I kid you not it tasted exactly like blueberry pie, it didn't get watered down, infact the more the ice melted the better it tasted. Now you have to understand, I hate blueberry flavored anything, so when he made it for me I was skeptical, but folks you just have to try it to believe this drink had no actual blueberries in it, yet tasted fantastic!! I asked if there was even any alcohol in it, because the flavors blended so seamlessly together. My friend also ordered The Blueberry Pie after tasting mine too.

My friend and I weren't sure what to get with it being our first time, but John was right there ready to suggest something to us. He picked the Pasta Al Denton for me. It is a pesto sauce over noodles, but goodness did it taste like something more complicated, it was delicious. My friend got the Southwest Brisket Pasta I tasted hers and decided to order hers next time I came in, since both were so good.

I also wanted to mention that John gave my friend and I space to talk, so it didn't feel like we had to work to keep our privacy while sitting at the bar. My friend and I can't wait...
