Update: This place has fallen from grace for me. I have been here several times now and the last two have been very disappointing. Today I asked for a glitter fade. They said they could do it. Great! I chose my base color and had it applied to then find out they actually don't have the right type of polish to do the fade. They had one option for which I would have chosen a different base color but they also started to get busy right at this point so instead of trying to make it work, they put on the one that was not a great match and rushed me out. I'm pretty certain the staff is not certified with CO DORA as nail technicians. I did not want to make a scene because it's not worth the confrontation but I will not be coming back here again. It shouldn't be this hard, especially for the price.
The last time, it was not busy but they rushed through anyway. I got switched mid-way to the woman I assume is the owner because she "likes to" do the French-tip acrylic. She was very rough and squeezed my fingers very hard. She was also giving me fake compliments which I found very condescending. She did not spend much time shaping and thinning the acrylic so they turned out thick and bubble-like. I came back wanting to give them another chance. Nope.
Disappointing that good nail salons are so hard to find. I understand they want to make money but I work hard for my money too and choose to spend some of it there so I would expect some integrity but it seems that integrity is a rare occurrence these days.

Read moreI've been going to this place for years but finally decided today after experiencing & witnessing terrible customer service that I will NOT be going back. I'm not one to bash a business but the service I received today was the straw that broke the camels back. Here is why. I had a 3 pm appt for a gel mani pedi and wasn't seen until almost 3:30pm. I had Sue and she was rude, mean, aggressive and had a horrible attitude from the minute I sat in the chair. Her & another very old lady were unnecessarily rude to my 10 yr old son who sat next to me in the pedicure chair for turning the massager on b/c he wasn't getting a pedicure...mind you I spent almost $100 there plus gave her a nice tip which she DID NOT deserve. Also for the manicure, she cut my real nails way too short after I told her not too short then she made a fuss when I told her about it, when I got home I had to rescrub my feet b/c the pedicure was so poorly done my feet were rough, she gave 2 second massages, she aggressively shoved my hands & feet under the UV lamp to cure which caused scratches on the polish. Absolutely ridiculous!. They nickel & dime everything. She isn't the only one with a terrible attitude either. Clearly they talk about you right in front your face to their coworkers. When I called to complain about the service the lady that answered the phone was so disingenuous & could care less. I found a pic of Sue from another reviewer who had same experience. They treat their customers as though we are an inconvenience to them. Chloe & Meela are the only 2 nice techs that's had consistent good customer service over the years. Read moreMy review is very similar to what many have voiced: after almost 2 years (every 2 weeks) I will no longer be going to this place because of the owner/manager. I got my nails done on Tuesday with a rebase and gel and that night @work 3 of my nails were chipping and peeling. (I work in a hospital where I wash my hands frequently for sterility). Today(Thursday) I walk in to have the polish changed because the nail tech, Henry I've been seeing is amazing, so it has nothing to do with technique I truly believe it was the polish and the owner/manager says that I cannot have a polish change and that this never happens (even though it has happened before with the same brand of polish). Even when I offered to pay because thats how bad I wanted to change the polish, she would not allow me to pay to have my polish changed. So much for customer satisfaction!! No one was right or wrong but she clearly either took offense or just did not care about my patronage. Additionally, I was sat to have my nails fixed by someone who is untrained or just not as good as Henry, when Henry was available, which I did not appreciate because he actually ended up messing up one of my nails. I guess it was only a matter of time before I was going to be subjected to her disregard for customer satisfaction and unprofessionalism. I urge you to look at other reviews because they all say the same thing!!! The one star is for the nail tech HENRY (if you have to go I would request/schedule with him)!
