Went to the stock show/pro rodeo, after years of not going and it was an awful experience. First, parking was ridiculous. Mind you I could have looked it up, just didnât think that was necessary considering the people I was meeting there said to meet at the Coliseum and park with them. Well, jokes on me, had to drive another 15 minutes to coors for free parking, then my pregnant girlfriend and I waited in -1 degree weather, for 15-20 minutes before a bus was able to pick us up. After I had already drove to the coliseum and was told thereâs no parking around it, go to coors. Once the shuttle got there, they stuffed it as much as they could and didnât even drop us off at the coliseum, waited over 30 minutes for this ride and still had to walk another 5-10 minutes. Once inside, it was a little hectic. Found our seats, which were at the top of a section and we walked up the railless, steep stairs, while making sure my girlfriend didnât fall down, just to sit in some hard, tiny, wooden seats. After about 15 minutes in, my asthma started to flair up. Iâve grown up around animals and around farms, but the air circulation in this coliseum was so bad, it game me and many others asthma attacks, along with sending 10+ others to first aid for allergy meds and masks, that they didnât have. First aid was able to help and gave me a breathing medicine, that didnât work as well as an inhaler. So with that, walked half way up the road to get back onto a shuttle, to be driven to my car to get home. I really wish this experience would have been good but it really was just awful. I donât think Iâd ever try to attend something like this again and I pray that everyone else effected with allergies and asthma...
Read moreSo I went to the fair about three weeks ago from a first time fairgoers standpoint. I wasnât really that impressed with the food thatâs really everything is really expensive. and you were able to buy these wristbands that were absolutely outrageous, and they were like on some sort of like a weird ticket thing where if you didnât have enough on the wristband you canât ride. Are then you were having to go-refill the wristband again so I think they should maybe work something out different for next year if thatâs how theyâre gonna do things because because all in all, it was really like a one star experience for a five star cost but I got to give credit where credit is due, my friends kids that we took had a blast so thatâs all that matters in the long run anyway . but we ended up dropping $300 or $400 that night so I would recommend going to Elitchâs or Waterworld instead . But overall it was a good night. And now from a different standpoint . I always go to the stock show where the tenor gun show year and other little mini conventions are said of that they do and Iâve always thought they were always been really organized and pretty enjoyable and they do have that new building there, which...
Read moreIn April we attended a Disney on Ice show at the Denver Coliseum, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The venue itself was spacious and well-maintained, with comfortable seating that provided a great view of the ice rink. The Disney on Ice show itself was absolutely magical. The performers skated flawlessly, bringing beloved Disney characters to life in a mesmerizing display of talent and artistry. The costumes were vibrant and detailed, capturing the essence of each character perfectly. The choreography and music were captivating, creating a truly immersive and enchanting atmosphere. What impressed me the most was how the show managed to captivate both children and adults alike. The storytelling was engaging and heartfelt, eliciting laughter, cheers, and even a few tears of joy. It was a truly magical experience that left everyone in the audience with a sense of wonder and happiness. Overall, the Denver Coliseum provides perfect shows, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful and memorable family outing. It's a place where dreams truly come to life, and I can't wait to attend another event there...
