Standard King Room at Cambria Hotel Denver Downtown RiNo 🛏️✨ #HotelTour #DenverHotels #CambriaHotel #RiNoDenver #TravelTikTok #roomtour #CapCut

The Cambria Hotel Denver Downtown RiNo exceeded our expectations in so many ways! We were from out of town looking for a cheap option for a last minute one-night stay. The neighborhood at first looked a little questionable, but once we stepped in to the Cambria we were completely at ease! The warm friendly attendants, the inviting fireplace felt like we paid much more than we did! We checked into our room, which was clean and comfortable. They were happy to allow a late check-out and (since we were members) offered a complimentary drink or appetizer. We got settled, decided to have a drink then explore the city. However, Rick greeted us at the bar with a warm smile and a handshake and made us the most amazing drinks! He gave perfect recommendations based on our taste preferences (Lavendar Ricky for my sister, and the Oaxacan Sour for me). He chatted with everyone at the bar and addressed us all by name, it was like a wonderful vibe...and from the first sips of our drinks, my sister and I gave each other a knowing look and silently agreed we weren't going anywhere else. For our next drink, my sis chose the Wild Berry and Rick let us in on an off menu secret "I make a mean Espresso Martini" and I was sold It truly was the BEST Espresso Martini I've ever had...it was rich, smooth, chocolatey, and is something I will continue to crave long after I return home. We quickly realized it would be wise to have something to eat...and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Rick handed us a menu and mentioned a fish and chips special. My sister quickly took his recommendation, and I chose the Wagyu Burger with sweet potato fries. Soon after, we met our chef Sean or Shawn (I'm sorry I forgot to ask how to spell it!) as he sat down our plates...and it was love at first bite! The fish and chips were perfectly crispy but not greasy, although lemon and an amaziinngg house made tarter sauce were provided, they weren't necessary, as the fresh cod was perfectly seasoned! The burger was cooked and seasoned to perfection, nearly melting in my mouth, much like the cheese that had melted into the peppers and burger patty. To top it off, the sweet potato fries were delicious, and addicting, I couldn't stop eating them, even after I had thrown in the napkin. I continued to watch both Rick and Sean welcome and attend to each person who walked into the bar with impeccable service and friendly smiles. Rick at one point went down the line and recalled the names of every person down the crowded bar! The whole experience was delightful and my only regret is that we ended up leaving early and didn't get to try the breakfast burrito, which would have been smothered in delicious green chili that Sean proudly allowed us to sample that night! Next time for sure! I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

Staying at Cambria was an excellent choice while visiting Denver. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy and decor was swanky. Our room had Bluetooth mirrors which was perfect because we love to listen to music . The highlight for me was NO CARPET!!! The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar and offers happy hour daily on the terrace. There were so many common areas to mingle and converse with others and Pharina was so helpful , she recommended a few places for us to visit while in town which we did and enjoyed them all. I would definitely book here again if I'm ever in Denver. It was an overall exceptional hotel experience.

I have exclusively lived in hotels around the world for the past 2 years because i’ve been traveling full time. I have a lot of experience with hotels and this was among the worst I’ve stayed in.

In general, hotel hospitality in the US is dismal compared to most other countries. So I went in with low expectations but there were some things that really stood out.

-I was charged a SECOND charge of my total to my card about halfway through my stay. I asked the front desk why because I already paid the deposit at check-in and they said the charge will fall off in 12 days if it’s a credit card and gave no further explanation.

So my original total of $1150 for 4 nights doubled just to be refunded again. Why?

I have never stayed in a hotel that did this, in the US or otherwise.

The money isn’t the problem. This wasn’t disclosed to us at all. At check-in we were told our total + small deposit (both of which was paid at that time) and that’s it. If this is procedure, it should be disclosed. & if I come to the front desk to ask for an explanation, I should be able to get that.

-Upon check-out the lady at reception was one of the rudest people I have ever met. She didn’t want anything to do with us. Wouldn’t look us in the eye. Didn’t say hello or thank you. We asked if we could leave our 5 bags until we could check into our next place and she ROLLED HER EYES and begrudgingly did what she had to do as a receptionist in order for us to leave our bags.

Funny though because a man who I assumed is her manager (given her complete 180), came out to help and her entire attitude changed. She was smiling and talking to us. The exact same thing happened when we came back to pick up our luggage too. Horrible to us until someone else was around.

-The sheets are way too small for the mattress size. Every morning we were waking up to the sheets popped off the corner of the bed.

-The front desk doesn’t go over the room cleaning schedule with you at check in. That should just be basic check in procedure when welcoming in new guests.

The things I liked: -Location -Rooms were quite noise proof for being right on the street -Clean rooms and facilities -The gym was nice and well maintained with modern equipment -The convenience store area downstairs and the restaurant was nice to have

We stayed 9 nights across the street at Vib Hotel before coming to Cambria. The only reason we didn’t stay there longer is they had no more rooms for us to extend our stay in. I get this hotel is newer but man there’s a lot that needs fixing and ironing out and frankly a lot of that starts with the customer service from the minute you walk in which is currently drastically lacking. We didn’t have even close to this bad of an experience at Vib and...
