Edited on 5/8: I wanted to update this to acknowledge that the manager has contacted me and has tried to remedy the situation. While we likely won't be returning, I do appreciate the managers willingness to make things right. Adding a star for service! I definitely appreciate the effort. ORIGINAL REVIEW: We typically eat at LeftHand when we attend shows at the Mission Ballroom. Last night, we ate there prior to the Jason Isbell show. The restaurant was busy, which was to be expected. However, our entire dining experience was a mess. The line to order food at the bar was quite long. We ordered two pizzas and a couple of beverages and were able to secure a table. While we waited for our food, we watched the wait staff frantically look for table numbers and consistently attempt to deliver food at the wrong tables. We finally received our pizzas after about 40 minutes. My pizza was cold and looked as though it had been sitting in the window for quite some time. My boyfriend's pizza was not cooked all of the way, and had mostly unmelted cheese in the middle. About halfway through drinking my diet coke, I realized that there were tons of bits of some sort of citrus all over the inside of the cup. I didn't have lemon in my drink, so I can only assume I was served a soda in a dirty cup. The restaurant was so busy, there was no way any of this could have been fixed in a timely matter without being late for the show. I know that this location gets busy. But, being that it's really the only restaurant close to the venue, it seems that LeftHand really needs to reevaluate their processes for busy evenings like this. The service and food were definitely not worth what we paid.

First, the positive. The beer was great and the location trendy and bright. It is walking distance away from The Mission Ballroom. The patio is large, well lit and inviting. the negative: After nearly an hour wait, my friend and I had our burgers and fries delivered. Our order somehow got lost and had to be recooked, but at least the food was hot and the fries decent. Both burgers deserved a funeral service as they were well on their way to being cremated. Overcooked, chewy, dry, and without even a hint of salt, pepper, or any other seasoning. On top of the burger was the vestiges of what one can only assume was once a tomato. The slice of tomato on my friend's burger was about the size of a quarter. Definitely not what I would expect for a $15 burger! A McDonald's burger would have been more appealing than these. These burgers were that bad!!! Service was awful. No wait staff ever checked in with us. After sitting for a half hour waiting on food, we walked up to the counter to only find out that our order was lost. After nearly an hour, the food(?) finally showed up. No apologies, other than a brief "Here's your food." No staff ever checked in to see if all was well or if the food was ok. It was not!!!!! While walking to the restroom, I noticed the door to the kitchen had been left open (see picture). Food was all over the floor, looking gross and unsanitary. I'm not sure that I will give Left Hand RiNo another chance. Which is too bad considering it is a very convenient place to eat before an event at the Mission Ballroom. My advice... Come here for the beer. Eat elsewhere.

If you're looking for an epic place to host an event I highly recommend LeftHand RiNo- they are kind, warm, accommodating and just all-around beatiful humans! I have been to LeftHand for SO MANY REASONS and everytime the staff and managers go above and beyond to create magic. This weekend an organization I consult with, Ardent Grove Foundation, hosted a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Class at LeftHand RiNo's back room with The Group Chat Denver. The GM, Kavan Speck, showed up an hour before the restaurant even opened to accomodate us to set up their back room space for the class. He had already moved all of the tables/chairs and prepped the space to be ready for us to load in and get started. Everything was SO easy. Leading up to the class their Events Manager, Hayley Lutz, worked with us to sort out all of the details in advance. She's wonderful and such a "get it done" woman who was beyond supportive in making this event happen - from ideating to planning logistics she was a dream. As a small non-profit it's often cost-prohibitive (event space rental fees, food and beverage minimums...etc.) to bring these types of events to community and we so appreciate LeftHand's values-driven approach to community care and connection. We couldn't have asked for a better partner to help us bring healing to community and creating such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere to launch Trauma Sensitive Yoga! (and I ordered a Stage Dive Pizza to go afterward and it was so DELICIOUS!)

I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing Todd's exceptional bartending skills and unmatched service during my recent visit to Left Hand RiNo. From the moment I stepped into the establishment, Todd's warm demeanor and genuine passion for mixology were palpable. His dedication to providing a memorable and delightful experience to every patron was evident in every interaction.

Todd possesses an extensive knowledge of cocktails and spirits, effortlessly guiding me through the menu with expert recommendations tailored to my preferences. His creativity knows no bounds, as he artfully crafted innovative concoctions that tantalized my taste buds and left me craving more. Whether it was a classic cocktail or a custom creation, Todd's attention to detail and precision in execution never wavered.

What truly sets Todd apart, however, is his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. He goes above and beyond to ensure that each guest feels welcomed, valued, and catered to. His engaging personality and genuine interest in connecting with patrons create an inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back time and time again.

Beyond his mixology prowess, Todd's professionalism and dedication to his craft are commendable. He consistently demonstrates impeccable time management, ensuring that orders are promptly fulfilled without compromising on quality. His ability to multitask seamlessly while maintaining a cheerful disposition is truly impressive.

In addition to his bartending skills, Todd excels in fostering a sense of community within the establishment. He effortlessly cultivates a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere where guests feel like part of the Left Hand RiNo family. Whether it's striking up a conversation with a regular or welcoming a newcomer with open arms, Todd's genuine hospitality shines through in every interaction.

In conclusion, Todd exemplifies excellence in bartending and service at Left Hand RiNo. His passion for mixology, dedication to customer satisfaction, and ability to create memorable experiences make him an invaluable asset to the establishment. I wholeheartedly recommend Todd to anyone seeking an extraordinary bartending experience. Left Hand RiNo is truly fortunate to have such a talented and personable individual...

Edit: The ease of which there is to find parking and in order for patrons to enter your establishment should be a concern you wish to hear of. We were directed by parking staff down the way and after two turns, decided it would in fact be easier to go park in the heart of RiNo, which we did. We would have gladly paid for parking if it was of ease to procure. Perhaps better communication with Mission Ballroom around where people can park in a concert evening? As you mentioned, you do not have your own parking for your establishment, which may impact the ease of patrons entering your business. Parking at certain times may be hard to come by, thus, I stand by my statement, that unless coming to the location for a show or living near here, patrons may want to take an Uber/Lyft in order to gain easy access. As you wish, I will modify from 3 stars to 4, simply because I have traveled up to Longmont several times (which is why I find your accusation I wouldn’t pay for parking for my favorite brewery in fact laughable when I’d make the drive) to enjoy Left Hand’s amazing brews. To their credit as a brewery and not to this location’s retort, I will gladly provide some modification. Left Hand makes good brews, while the avid local patron may find it difficult to find parking before a show, this location may well find they receive plenty of business from the venue next door regardless.

And for everyone’s information on the repose to park in RTD, here’s from their site: “Unless otherwise permitted by RTD, parking a vehicle in Park-n-Rides without use of the RTD transit system is prohibited and may subject the owner to penalties including towing of the vehicle at the owner's expense.” -End edit

My friends and I wanted to stop by as Left Hand Brewing is my favorite and I was so excited when they opened the Denver branch. We could not, however, get parking. This location seems to be only for Mission Ballroom nights, and we drove into an empty parking lot ahead of a show but were told to drive down blocks to find parking as a show would begin later that evening and it was $20 parking for Mission Ballroom. We drove around in circles twice before we gave up and left the area. If you want to go here and are not attending a show, I recommend only going...
