Every time I see one of Jeff’s productions, I am reassured that the heart of Denver’s local artists still beats strong. I first experienced Jeff’s performances as a college student in 1999 and now, almost 25 years later I get to introduce my daughter to local talent and leaders in Community Theater, Black theater and the history of where we live. I can always trust that his work will make me laugh, that it will be thought provoking, entertaining and educate me on aspects of local history and culture that I wouldn’t otherwise have an opportunity to learn about. We saw "In the Pocket: The Ballad of Bobby Trombone" on Friday night at The Savoy Theater in Denver. The Savoy Theater is a really cool venue. We look forward to attending more events there. The play was really great. Loved the set and the characters. Interesting to learn about this hotel in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver.
