If this park could fix its short fences and bathroom situation, then it would be perfect.

Cons: -Main bathrooms are closed for an unknown reason, and the port-a-potty's are gross. Fence along main road is really short next to the soccer fields and allow balls to be kicked out across the main road. During one hour, I watched 3 players and 1 parent hop the fence chasing after balls. Two of which went across the busy road. It would be really smart to install tall sports fencing behind the nets.

Pros: I like that there are many different sports represented at this park. Beautiful turf fields with clean, easy to see lines, plenty of space for teams and parents to be on the sidelines without running into the next field. Plenty of lights (though they were on during the daytime). I like that they take pride in their fields and think everything through (except preventing balls from crossing the road). -Nice established trees and shade structures throughout. Covered solar panel parking with EV charging stations. No dogs allowed inside the turf fenced-in areas, however you can have them outside of the fence on the grass areas. Easy to use paths for all ages and abilities to...

Parkfield Lake Park is a great spot, especially if you're looking for a place with well-kept sports fields and open space for the whole family. The park is clean, and the fields are in good conditionโ€”perfect for soccer games, practice, or just playing around. Itโ€™s also a nice place to plan a picnic with friends or family. Thereโ€™s plenty of space to set up and enjoy the outdoors without feeling crowded.

My kids really enjoyed the playground, even though itโ€™s not their absolute favorite. They still had a great time and made the best of it, which says a lot. Thereโ€™s just something about being outside with room to run and play that makes the day better.

There are also nice walking paths around the lake, and the views can be pretty relaxing, especially in the evenings. It's a solid neighborhood park that works well for both active days and chill hangouts.

If you're in the area and looking for a place to let the kids burn off energy, enjoy a picnic, or play some sports, I definitely recommend checking it out. It might not be the most famous park in town, but it has a...

What is the point of paying for the lights to turn on weeks(months?) in advanced if you don't turn it on for us? We reserved a soccer field and put in a lot of effort to figure out the logistics of getting many people from all over the state to come play. Not to mention the double confirmation calls during the week of to the officials who were insistent that the lights would be on at 7:10 pm. We stayed till 8:30 pm in hopes the lights would turn on, and it did not. We hope we get at least a full refund, but can you incompetent folks compensate us for the time and efforts involved in organizing our event? Terrible city organization. Seriously, if you simply did this well, you would have had our loyal business for years to come and received many referrals. Now, due to the lack of simply doing you're job, you will not only lose future business from our organization but every network of players who were present. Incompetency has a price. I will personally ask every discontent player and fan who was present today to write a negative review. Way to ruin our...

Park is nice but it could use some security guards patrolling it because there are some sketchy people there and a fight broke out with some of the young people. Plus more parking and more people doing maintenance and clean up would be nice too because many trash bins were overflowing and the porta potties were pretty nasty.

A pleasant place for a family hike. Plenty of water fowl (geese and ducks) and signs of predators (rabbit head and another skull). The trails are in great shape with solid drainage on a fairly wet day. Some gorgeous, giant Plains Cottonwood trees and Narrow Leaf Cottonwoods. Lots of adventures for my 3 and 4 year olds.
