We were planning a graduation party for over 50 guests, and our choice to cater with American BBQ turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.

From the moment we reached out to American BBQ, their customer service was exemplary. The customer service reps went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring every detail was tailored to our needs. Whether it was adjusting the menu, changing the number of guests, they approached every request with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.

Matthew and Karen were the best, they came to set up early and also went above and beyond by helping us with our seating, table cloths and decorations. They checked in with us throughout the evening and made sure we had everything we needed. Give these two a RAISE!!

The highlight of the event was, without a doubt, the food. American BBQ Company served up a fantastic spread of charcoal grilled burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken and sausage and peppers. The fixens and sides like grilled corn, mac & cheese, potato salad and slaw were on point.

With a party of over 50, pleasing a large crowd can be challenging, but American BBQ Company nailed it. Several guests remarked on how much they enjoyed the food, and there were few leftovers by the end of the night! The combination of quality, flavor, and generous portions truly made it a hit.

We recently used the American BBQ Company for a large private event with 150 participants. This was our first experience with them and we chose them after reading the excellent online reviews. Leading up to our event, i was extremely impressed by their communication. We spoke several times via phone and email to discuss what we needed. They answered all my questions very quickly and thoroughly (which i appreciated as an over-planner/worrier). The day of the event, they came exactly when they said they would. They worked quickly and efficiently without problem. Everything was set up and looked great before our guests arrived. As others had mentioned, the portions were generous. We had never used catering services before and were worried about not having enough, we ended up having so much that we sent many doggie bags home with guests afterwards (i still have several bags of frozen brisket in my freezer for future meals!) We found the food to be better quality than most catered events, i heard compliments on the beans, brisket and pulled pork several times throughout the day. On 7/10/21, I had a surprise retirement party for my wife. Serving time was suppose to be from 4PM until 7PM. The staff was suppose to arrive about an hour and a half before to set up. Well I went to clean up at about 2:50PM and there was no staff. My wife arrived around 4:10PM and about a half hour later after greeting everyone the food wasn't ready yet. The staff closed shop at 7PM. My guests really enjoyed the food. But I had to mention several times about refilling the containers. I called Steve and explained the situation and he said they would get back to me. I guess they don't care they received their money and tips and this is 7/28/21. Note they also charge an extra fee for fuel $103.15, $425 service charge and half price $17.99 for children 5-11. They also were suppose to do gluten free, which didn't happen. Specifically for the Celiac the guests . Just to show you this is 8/20 and still no response. I definitely wouldn't recommend them...
