Laff Trakk — Attraction in Derry Township

Now, I'm an enthusiast, and I really enjoyed this ride! As of now, it's my favorite spinning coaster. Maurer and Hershey did a great job on laff trakk. It's smooth, spins a decent amount, and has great theming! I've heard some other coaster Enthusiasts say that the theming is bad and just a bunchI’ve cut out but that is what the theme is. It is supposed to be like a fun house and it is executed very well. What else would you expect when walking into a Funhouse themed spinning coaster? It actually feels like a fun house! Now my mom is totally obsessed with it, and she overrates it. But it is a very fun ride that will have you laffing. 😉 for the best experience, put more weight on one side so it will spin more. Only complaint is the line gets WAYYYY too long. If you get a fast pass, you’ll definitely need it for laff trakk. Laff trakk and Fahrenheit get some of the longest lines in the park! It is great for the family and even enthusiasts can get a kick out of it. Even though it’s a clone, it is very enjoyable and well themed. Such an awesome coaster!!! I love how the seating is. 2 seated forwards and 2 seated backwards and sometimes by the time the car gets back to the station whoever was seating forwards will come into station backwards and vice versa. I love the black light images all through the ride, it's very fun house like and the music playing is so whimsical and makes you feel like you're at the circus. Very smooth and the spinning of this isn't as wild, it's a very gradual spin. This is definitely meant for the families, but even a thrill seeker would still enjoy this...you'll be getting off with a smile that is for sure! I also love the queue line while inside because of the fun house mirrors, those'll sure to make you laugh and take pictures of yourself through the mirrors. The only down part to this is that it only seats 4 people per car and since this ride is very popular it takes forever to get through the line. Christmas Candylane is the best time to ride because it's not as crowded and they decorate the ride and the line all up...

Excellent family coaster! Was pleasantly surprised by it! The line (reason why I gave 4 stars) does get long very quickly so I recommend getting to the queue as soon as the park opens. I imagine with Wild Cat's Revenge opening in the same area it may help with wait times for Laff Trakk but just in case, get there early. My family rode this coaster twice (first and last ride we rode for the day) during our visit last year. Our wait at the beginning of the day was roughly 20mins, at the end it was more like 2hrs. Make sure you ride with 4 people in total (if you're a group of 2 see if there are any other groups of 2 you can ride with) and sit with even weight on each side. If you follow my advice the ride spins each time and at times you feel like you're being thrown off of the edge (something I and other thrill seekers enjoy).
