I’ve always enjoyed this little thrift shop, but my visit today changed my mind. When I walked in I was hit with the most putrid odor. I get the stuff is used and some people are dirty, but this is such a turnoff and can be rectified by not putting smelly stuff out and by employing the use of an air purifier.
It was 3:30 and after six or 7 minutes Dancing Queen came on and everyone was vibing to it including me. Halfway through, the music stopped. I went up to pay and asked the woman “you’re still open for 20 minutes, right?” She said “well, yeah, fifteen” as she glanced at the clock that said 3:38. I said “is that why you shut the music off” and she said “yes”. I said “wow, we were all enjoying that song too” and she just shrugged. I’m sooooo sick and tired of being rudely rushed out of shops with 20 minutes before closing. Management needs to get people who want to work and who value customers who actually want to spend money in these tough times. Shame...

Read moreThis place is the best. The staff is very friendly, and the building has a school's worth of furnished rooms, many of them ideal for round-table meetings or classes. They also subsist off of donations, so passing a basket around for contributions is a cheap and easy way to cover using the space, whether it's monthly or weekly.
