My computer (Windows) got serious problems. I went to Computer Technology Center (CTC, located in Rockville Maryland) on March 29, 2016 for help. Mr. Michael Parsa, the CTC owner, took over my computer and, seeing worries on my face, said, "Don't you worry at all. I will take care of it." My computer had been "sick" for a fairly long time until it became so sick that it stopped working completely. I felt hopeless and was ready to buy a new PC. But Michael assured me that he could solve the problems.
To make the long story short, Michael spent hours upon hours doing the diagnosis and testing and used all his skills and experiences to tackle my PC problems. As he assured me again and again, he finally returned my PC completely free from all problems like a new computer.
I appreciate CTC not only because they helped solve my PC problems but also their friend-to-friend attitude toward their customers. I was so moved by their "stubbornness" to tackle and solve problems until I was satisfied and happy. Plus they offered very reasonable charges and I feel, compared with the hours they spent on repairing my PC and the satisfactory results, their charges are low.
Based upon my wonderful experiences dealing with CTC, I will definitely go back to CTC whenever I have new problems with my computers; and i would also like to say that when you have a computer problem, no matter what it can be, go to CTC first before you try any other services. ...
Read moreI have three engineering degrees, and I've designed and built computer hardware and software. But when I have a hardware problem with a PC I don't fix it myself! I'm not up-to-date on diagnostics, and don't work with all the specialized connectors often. And I don't have a stash of parts.
Today my wife's computer was slow, and I did all the normal diagnostic things, and decided that after several years the disk drive was starting to throw errors and was slowing things down. So I took the machine to my favorite computer mechanic, Mike Parsa of the Computer Technology Center on Hungerford Drive in Rockville. He's replacing the hard drive with a solid-state drive, which will fix the disk problem if there is one, and make it run fast as the devil if there isn't one. He said it would be ready Monday.
Mike has been in the business a long time, and he's very good at it. He's not ambitious in trying to get as much from you as possible for the repair. The machine I took him today has a 1 terabyte disk, and only 300 gigs are used, and Mike strongly recommended that I have him install a 500 gig solid state drive instead of a terabyte, to save me $40. He's honest, he's dependable, and he gets the work done quickly. And his prices...
Read moreI started having problem with my HP Chromebook and called around to see who can service it. Surprisingly, all of the computer repairs shops I called said that they do not fix Chromebooks. Michael at Computer Technology Center is the first to say: "Bring it over, I'll take a look!" For sure they were able to reinstall the operating system and make it work again. This made me a very happy customer.
I since brought the Chromebook there again because the screen wouldn't even turn on. Mike reassured me that they will take a look to see if it is worth it to be fixed. After spending hours and hours trouble shooting, it was fixed! But since I had brought the Chromebook in before, he charged me very reasonably rate, even though his staff had spent many hours on it.
It is definitely worth while to go to this store for your computer repair needs. I've had excellent experience there. I think...
