Room: I enjoyed the rooms I’ve had here, they are clean in terms of bedding and bathroom and floors, I have seen dirty curtains before but that only bothers me when I am closing them. I enjoy the amenities they provide, good toiletries/ bath products and I enjoy the clean towels. Service: The Front desk crew in the morning to afternoon shift are so rude. Even the manager, I had a bad experience with my room during daylight saving and the manager of front desk was rude and started talking crap about my mom because she is a vip member and asked to get another night , the manager didn’t want to give us a new room and started talking to the vip desk and saying we don’t deserve a room because of what we just complained about (water wasn’t working in the room, and she expected us to call maintenance after it was 10 minutes before check out. We didn’t know until the next day that the water wasn’t working.) Completely rude service, this nice hotel deserves better workers who are accommodating and reasonable and supporting their customers. Whoever that manger is she needs to be demoted, if you don’t like your job.. get a new one! No need to be rude to people or talk bad about people in their face. Location: This hotel is based near downtown so I enjoy being there because it is close to get around. Parking is closer to the highway so it makes it fairly easy to leave. I also enjoy that parking is free here & very spacious! One of the best perks of this hotel! Views are amazing from the hotel room, I often get the best views from higher levels but even from the 3rd floor you can get a good view or the Canadian bridge. Spa also apart of the hotel, I got to enjoy the spa about a week ago & I loved the hot tub & the clean locker rooms. They also offer free amenities and there are different things you can include with the spa, hence, a massage. The spa is 25$ when you have a hotel room there. I wished they closed later at night though. Food court is big and spacious, I always enjoy the festive decorations during holidays & there are limited options but they are common American foods so the selection is decent enough, although, I do think fancier restaurants should be included due to the class of the hotel.

I am so disappointed in our stay this week. This was mine and my husbands first time visiting the casino. I am shocked that this place has a 4.2 rating. Please if you’re looking at the reviews LISTEN TO THE BAD ONES they were right! First of all, we paid for a city view and did not get that. My husband and I decided not to complain because we wanted to enjoy our time. Later in the night when we pulled back our covers, they were COVERED in stains! The comforter was also ripped almost completely! There were holes in the sheets! The carpets were dirty, the room had a horrible chemical odor, it was awful. We politely asked multiple times to have our sheets changed, they weren’t changed until the 3rd time that we asked! Mind you we waited hours in between. We didn’t yell, we didn’t demand a new room, we didn’t ask for our money back, all we wanted were some clean sheets. We totally understand that they might be short staffed due to the pandemic, HOWEVER, our room should have been cleaned right the first time. So, if you come, do not expect housekeeping to stop by in the morning and bring fresh towels or make your bed. Thankfully the woman who came to help was super sympathetic and saved the trip. I was also disappointed that for over $200+ a night, the hotel rooms were extremely outdated. They don’t even have usb plugs for your phones. Their accommodations as far as hygiene stuff were minimal. I’ve stayed at wayyy nicer and updated Holiday inn expresses for cheaper. This room was the quality inn or less then. The casino itself was alright. It wasn’t horrible but I’ve definitely been to better. The staff in the casino were nice, however, the staff in the hotel lobby were not so nice. The nicest part is that they do have a free shuttle to Little Caesars Arena. Overall, I’m so sad this was a not so great experience. We had high expectations, however, we were disappointed. Don’t waste your money :(

Well the hotel entrance was filled with the aroma of Marijuana, I have nothing against it just hate that smell. It was a very nice entrance and looked Extremely nice. The staff at the desk was very polite and courteous. Fast forward to my room, we checked the beds for any sign of bed bugs and didn’t see any, however, I woke up the next morning and saw a friggin bed bug crawling on my pillow. I also noticed a total of 7 bites on my ankles and my left forearm. So gross. I took the bedbug down to the front desk and the lady that was down there saw it and said “oh hell no I don’t do bugs” and she walked away. The gentleman that was down there was very polite and courteous and got ahold of the Manager who came Down and promptly switched our rooms. The casino itself is so cluttered with slow Machines and they are mostly all the same type. The rewards center where you get a card didn’t open till 1 on a Saturday which was very surprising. Being the first time at the casino I couldn’t even get a players card. Luckily the table games floorperson was able to make me one. But the ink didn’t work so the only thing you could see was my name and barely. Needless to say it’s a Toss up if I will be back but if I do go back I will NOT be staying at the hotel. That is so disgusting. Also I should mention the food venues, the revel steak house Is amazing. So expensive but amazing. If you want anything else good luck with that. The diner we got our burgers and fries from has no form of structure. We were order 31 and 33 and just got a burger and fries and that is all. They had orders done for People that ordered from the little kiosk 20min after us. How does that make sense!! So basically the food options are not many in comparison to what you would see at other casinos and hotels.

🌟✨ Anniversary Magic with Maysa! ✨🌟 For our six-year wedding anniversary October 20th, I wanted to do something special for my husband, and what better way than to celebrate our love for live entertainment? I surprised him with tickets to see Maysa, an incredibly talented artist who holds a special place in my heart as one of my sorority sisters. 💖 From the moment she took the stage, Maysa captivated us with her incredible voice and unique ability to make every song her own. It's truly a gift to hear an artist pour their soul into their music, and Maysa did just that. 🎤🎶 To make the evening even more special, we were treated to a phenomenal opening act by LaShawn Gary, a Detroit native and jazz artist who also happens to be the Music Director at Oak Grove AME Church and a dedicated music teacher in Southfield schools. His performance set the perfect tone for the night! 🎷🎵 Maysa also shared some deeply personal stories about her journey and the setbacks that inspired her to write some of her biggest hits. It was a poignant reminder of the power of music to heal and connect us all. As they say, writing out your pain can be therapeutic, and it's clear that Maysa's vulnerability resonated with most in the audience. 💔➡️❤️ This anniversary was not just a celebration of our love but also a beautiful reminder of the transformative power of music. Thank you, Coleman A Young Foundation, for sponsoring such a memorable evening! Here’s to many more nights of live music and love! 🎉🥂 #Anniversary #LiveMusic #Maysa #SoulfulSounds #DetroitLove
