This was such a unique dining experience in Detroit! My husband and out friends decided to walk here from our hotel, the Renaissance Centre, after reading the great reviews online. It's a bit of a walk from there, and you will pass through a bit of a sketchy block or two, but it is definitely worth it! It is set up almost like an outdoor market, with a number of unique small food vendors and a central beer garden. There are lots of tables and seating options Ll around both inside (upstairs & downstairs) as well as outside. I tried the B96 curry with chicken and coconut rice from Bangkok 96 street food. It was definitely one of the most unique curries I have ever had! The sauce was light, creamy and perfectly spiced. There was a very generous portion of two perfectly cooked chicken breasts on top. The rice was also perfectly cooked with a delicate coconut flavour, and it was served in a cute little takeout-style box on the side. My husband tried the jerk chicken wings and Caribbean fries from Coop Caribbean Fusion. Both had an outstanding flavour! The wings were nice and spicy, with a perfect amount of sauce; the fries were perfectly crispy with a delicious creamy and flavourful sauce on top. The portions were so generous he could not finish both dishes. To wash it all down, a large assortment of local beers are offered on tap at the beer garden for a fairly reasonable price. All in all, it was a great experience and a perfect way to try out many different local food vendors in Detroit.

We absolutely love this place 😍 first time we went it was me and my fiance'. They had a DJ for the watch party for the Lions. We had fun dancing to the music, singing, watching the game, drinks, good food etc. The garlic aoli fries from the Caribbean place are so good! There is like 5 restaurants to choose from so a little something for everyone. There is Greek, Indian, Caribbean, Thai, burger place and coffee shop. It's like upper scale bar food. Prices are a little steep, but kind of expected. Food is always hot and fresh. We have only been on game days so not sure about regular days, but both times we went seating was very limited due to crowding. Second time we went we brought our kids and they had a blast too! It's awesome because it's not really a bar so kids are welcome, but it has a bar feel. Lots of tv's to watch sporting events. The first time we went there was an amateur comedy night after the game that was pretty cool to check out. It is a large place with a main floor, upstairs and heated tent outside. The only thing I don't like is paying to park.

I love the idea, I love the potential, I love the concept. Beautiful decor throughout with the likes of the art by #alphonsocox...I think the opening was a bit premature maybe, just because there was only 2 out of 5 restaurants open for business and one of them stopped serving because they said, “an NBA player was coming” in which they were out of most of what ppl wanted, big ups to #bangkok96streetfood for feeding us #padthairolls #beefwstickyrice #steakwstickeyrice . (We thought that was bad business, considering we all were there to support this new establishment. It would have been wise to postpone the opening until after the Big3 game, which some if not most of us came from even. But I guess that's business, considering those players will go back to their fancy abodes and you'll be stuck with the rest of us as customers, not that we had any-say in the matter)....Well we ordered our food which was very good, (wish it was hotter/warmer) and then went to try to get drinks and sat and ate which was pretty nice once we were able to do all those things. We actually had a nice time, checked out the entire place, met some cool ppl and traded our food choice opinions. We do plan on returning for a much nicer try in the future. Good luck to all the establishments within. Thanks for the security team to make those that needed to have that extra safetynet, they were really nice and helpful. #detroitchik #big3 #icecube #hewascomintheysaid...

This place encapsulates Detroit for me. An empty field where there is nothing, and someone gets the idea to put it to use. Constructed from shipping containers forming the outer walls, it creates a meeting place for families and friends, or people who will be. The outside of the facility is welcoming and hosts people looking to enjoy the weather and people of the city and out of towners alike. Detroit welcomes everyone, as it always has. The history of the city, the grit of its people, and the ingenuity spurred by need and opportunity have all come together to provide a meeting place where everyone is welcome.

We were a party of six, and we got food from five different vendors. Everyone enjoyed their food throughly. Think of it as a kind of food truck rally mixed with a mall food court. I know that doesn't necessarily sound great, but it really is.

This will be old news to those in the know, but Detroit is on the rise, and it will not stop. It was knocked down, but like a fighter in its prime, it is back on its feet and shaking off the cobwebs. If I were a young person, I would want to be in a city like this. It has everything you could want. Night life, things to do everywhere you look, and people who meet your gaze and say hello as you pass. This place represents what is good about Detroit and what is possible if you dream and...
