Used to shop here a lot and spend upwards of $100 each time. Stopped going for the majority of the pandemic and when I came back I noticed their prices pretty much doubled on most things. Mens t-shirts doubled, name brand stuff more than doubled and even office things are more expensive, things that cost $8 new at Target now cost $6 here. It's still a deal I suppose but id rather spend the extra $2 for the new one.
Recently decided to give it another shot and found a cool framed poster that I wanted to buy but was a hassle carrying around while I still browsed so I asked the cashier if she could hold it while I shopped and she told me she couldn't save anything, I let her know I was going to buy it for sure but was still shopping and it didn't fit my basket but she said again that she cant save things and started to walk away from me so I had to just ask her to ring me up for that item alone and went to put it in my car then pay again later once I was done with the rest of my shopping.
In short, high prices, bad service and lots of people inside with no masks which apparently the employees didn't mind since nothing was said. Ive been here only three times this year and it seems I'll be coming even less if at all...
Read moreI have donated to Goodwill industries for years around the country. Always treated so kind. Today I visited Diamond bar location and will never go back. The woman there was rude, said it "was not her job" to help put donations in the bins inside her donation office. Was stopping people to quiz them on what she would accept before they unloaded their trunks vs. what she would not accept? Other states, the employees come to your car, load all donations in a bin and provide a receipt. At Diamond bar they are picking and choosing what they will accept. I asked her if they would accept a love seat sofa, she replied, " I have to see it first"? So I am going to lug it over for this rude woman to just look at it! I don't think so!! Pathetic service and representation of what Goodwill industries stands for. This women informed me she was incharge of 3 locations of Goodwill in the Walnut/ Diamond bar location. I will continue to donate to the Vietnam vets and...
Read moreHello, I am a regular goodwill shopper and spend a lot of money each time I come by. I have met and seen many employees come and go over the years but was very impressed with one employee in particular by the name of Isaiah. The customer service and natural care that came from this employee was so expressive. I have been a Customer Service manager for over 20 years, so when I experience great servi e, I have to praise these rare experiences. I could tell that Isaiah enjoys his job, he made eye contact, he wasn't afraid to ask customers if we needed help, as I made my purchase, he held conversation about what I was purchasing and made suggestions on similar items which I ended up purchasing, he made me laugh and just made my experience very pleasant. Huge thanks to Goodwill Diamond Bar foe the great experience. I look forward to more incountets with this employee when I shop there, I wish they were all as amazing as Isaih. Thanks Isaih for your...
