Definitely come here if you’re a fan of outright disrespect, restaurants competing for which one has the loudest speakers, and a parking garage that makes horrific chaos look like a warm, fuzzy blanket. The best part of my experience here was leaving and knowing I will never have to come back.
Come with me on a journey. All I wanted was some ice cream. My wife and I pulled up to the garage, and the employee who handed me a ticket completely ignored my question about the cost of parking. After I asked a fourth time, in Spanish, she told me $6 (this was true). The first 5 floors were packed, with patrons walking every which way and cars driving in the middle of the 2-way lanes. Having dodged the kids trying to destroy one of the big round mirrors, we finally found a spot and walked to the 2 elevators that serve the entire garage. But, two floors down, we had to switch to the stairs. Other people were packing into the elevator like they aspired to be sardines, throwing elbows and squashing us against the walls. So, we hopped off and walked down the sketchy stairs, coming out by a large dumpster behind the buildings. By this time, I was thinking I should just go vegan and forget about ice cream forever. The store fronts look nice, but with so many different songs playing simultaneously, it gets difficult to even think straight.
The ice cream was expensive and moderately tasty, so we began the odyssey of leaving this purgatory. Luckily, I found the super sketchy stairs door and returned to my car, dodging the trash-carrying employees along the way. Driving out involved avoiding hitting all manner of cars and unaware people, and I hope I never have to experience that garage again.
