I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to after this experience. We did the Lost City room and unfortunately left very disappointed. While the staff were polite, they weren’t particularly enthusiastic or engaging. We arrived right on time with all waivers completed, but still had to wait around 15 minutes,,likely because a staff member had to rush to set up the room.
Once inside, it was clear things were hastily prepared. No one told us that certain items in the room were broken, which caused us to waste time searching for a key that wasn’t even necessary. In the second room, one puzzle required a wooden bird that we only found later in the third room. On top of that, the third room was already unlocked when we got to the second, and the game master didn’t even notice until we asked about it through the clue system.
Some puzzles didn’t come with the required keys, and staff had to open them for us, which really took away from the immersion. After we escaped, it took several minutes for anyone to even realize, and there was no celebratory energy or enthusiasm like we’ve seen at other escape rooms. When we brought up the broken elements and missing pieces, staff brushed it off with a casual and unapologetic “oh that’s weird.”
Overall, the whole experience felt sloppy and disappointing, especially for a $200 price tag. We won’t be...
Read moreI initially called to book an appointment but was directed to voicemail, which was a little inconvenient. When I followed up to ask about their services, they returned my call while I was busy taking care of my newborn. My son ended up answering the phone, and the representative on the line, who sounded quite young, unprofessionally referred to my son as a “squeaker,” which I found unnecessary and disrespectful.
After this awkward exchange, I called back myself to continue the conversation, but the staff still seemed annoyed and dismissive. I asked if they had availability for my son’s birthday party, hoping to reserve a slot. However, as soon as I mentioned that it was for a birthday, they immediately said no without even asking for the date or checking their schedule. This lack of effort and courtesy made me feel like they were not interested in helping or accommodating potential customers.
Ultimately, I decided it wasn’t worth pursuing further, so I took my son to the movies for his birthday instead. While he enjoyed the outing, he had really been looking forward to attending this escape room, which made the experience disappointing for both of us. Overall, I was left with the impression that their customer service is unprofessional and unwelcoming, and I would not recommend this business based on...
Read moreI have never really written many reviews but i just had to for this place. We did the Lost City room and were very disappointed. Staff were nice just not the most outgoing... We arrived right on time, had all waivers signed and a staff member ran to the back, we think to set up the room because we had to wait fifteen minutes. Once we got in there, the room was so obviously rushed. We were not made aware that certain pieces were broken inside the room leading us to search for a key that was not even needed. One of our puzzles in the second room required a wooden bird which we ended up finding in the third room. upon getting to the second room the third rooms door was also unlocked and the person giving us clues didn't even notice until we hit the clue button and asked if it was supposed to be open. keys were not provided for certain puzzles in the room leading to an underwhelming experience when the staff had to open it for us. when we finally escaped the room. It took staff five minutes to notice and didn't have the energy we expected from playing other escape rooms. When we asked about the missing puzzles and the wooden bird staff just kind of dismissed it and said an unapologetic "oh that's weird". Overall a very underwhelming experience and a $200 one.
