Friends Nail & Spa — Attraction in Duluth

I was a first time customer and I announced that to the lady at the front desk when I got there today Friday Feb 18 2022 at 600pm, and asked for "Icey" as I read here in the reviews someone said she's good for SNS, which was what I wanted. . Icey was busy when I got there so by 620pm she started on my nails. I also introduced myself again and said I was a new customer and confirmed with her if she was Icey. She said yes. In the beginning She was moving pretty fast, but I thought maybe when she gets to the dipping buffing and shaping she will take her time, but she didn't, SHE RUSHED THROUGH and the end results was tacky. She finished at 6.55pm on the dot. . Meanwhile the was a customer next to me and the lady working on her took time , because she was already having her nails dipped by time I got there at 6pm, yet her nails was done beautifully and with patience by 650pm. So in conclusion I was a first time customer and most certainly this will be my last. I've never done SNS nails where they took 35 from start to finish. Basically thry close at 7pm, and Icey without a care for me a new customer wanted my dam.nNails done so she finishes before 7pm and she did. I will never go back there. . I should have just drived to my normal place Lilburn Walmart off highway 29. The least time they spend on working on my nails for SNS is 90mins and they get me to do hand washes in between , which Icey never had me do at all . . No hand wash whatsoever. Nov 15th i took my girfriend to get a full set and they only offered dip powder for the length she wanted for her nails along with the design. For one she was unsatisfied with her design and made her own adjustments to make them more to her liking. Second the night of November 19 her nails started to pop off with the slightest pressure for example her first few nails to pop off were due to picking up a pile of close the new couple were when removing her seatbelt(morning of November 20) and then Jus starting to feel other ones getting lose. Spent over a $100 for her feet and nails for them to be coming off within 5 days, the feet part was great but as far as nails will not come back for that service. Feel as though money was wasted and my gf didn’t even want to go back to get them redone for it to happen all over again. Wish a refund could be made but I’m sure they wouldn’t which is fine. Our neighbor also attended there and had the same issue with them just popping off but I don’t recall the time frame of when it started after getting them done. UPDATE!!! I wish I could give 10 stars! The next day Ibwas bothered by the stratchiness of my real nail showing through the clear gel. She told me to come in and redid them with a pink gel to cover up the scratches. She didn't make me feel bad at all and was very understanding. She did an even better job the second time! Hannah was my nail tech. I wanted stiletto french tip but didn't know what color to choose, she was greay with helping me choose a color. She painted one nail black, one red, and one white to help me decide. She also painted a few different types of French tip styles to help me choose which one I liked best. I asked to put a little black heart on my ring finger and omg, it is so cute! She was patient and nice with me the entire time. She didn't cut me or hurt me at all. Also my nails are so amazing!
