Zoong Guk Jib — Restaurant in Duluth

First time eating here today. Since i love to eat korean-chinese foods, i tried out almost every places in Duluth/Suwanee area. They were very busy for lunch time. I wouldn’t want to keep ring the bell to complain. Just left quietly. I will visit again after few months though.

1st, 쟁반짜장 jjajang was very salty. I made it take to go and mix with rice to eat. 2nd, 짬뽕 jjamppong, the first spoon of soup you taste is like 가쓰오부시(katsuobushi) and very strong MSG flavor. After finish the bowl, i would have to drink few bottles of water. Dry my mouth.

I usually give a tip depends on waitress’ ability, not as my duty that i have to put certain percentage. It is generally up to me to decide how much of a tip to leave a waitress at a restaurant. Bring out all the foods is not all their duty. They could’ve ask me how is the food. I thought that was essential question to ask customers few minutes after bring out the foods. Again, I’m not the person that ring the bell to complain. Essential things are essential. Manager would think i am so cheap about tip, but he can go ask 9292 kbbq place how much i left few days ago. Any hard workers are deserved to get paid more. If they paid same amount, I don’t think...

This was the WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had!!! I came with a group of 10 people. I was expecting the waitress to give us the round table with the Lazy Susan. But instead she gave us the long table in a separate room. A few of us asked if we could be seated at the round table but she didn’t. She didn’t even try to accommodate us. She flat out said “NO”. Very bad customer service! We ordered the $200 combo meal (dinner time). The quantity of the food looked as if it could only serve 3 people. Not everyone could try the food. We invited 2 people to try this place because it was really good the few other times I’ve eaten here. Not anymore!!! Our waitress was flat out mean, rude and nasty! She was really friendly and gave smiles to the other customers but my group. I feel as if this business is greedy! Because we also ordered a bowl of rice and most Chinese restaurants I’ve been to give the bowl of rice as “service” (meaning as a service they give it for free). But not this unfriendly waitress.

100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR LARGE GROUPS

Probably ok for 2-3 people but not for large...

This place failed my expectations... few of family friends recommended but not worth the money. My family ordered few main dishes ( Mongolian beef, S&S Pork & mapo tofu) along with one black bean noodles and one half black bean noodles &half seafood noodle soup..When we asked what is "요리" since each dishes were around $30 to figure out the portion to share but the server was all about make profit. Her answers were very vague... saying some people can finish the main dish by themself but some shares. By asking questions to determine how much to order was apparently wrong and gave us a sarcastic smile. Food was blend overall. Portion of their "main" dishes were possibly feed 2 to 3 people. We had leftovers since our server wanted to be dishonest to customers also failed to come by often to refill drinks. I would consider seeking another restaurant to poor service and food. Definitely no to servers dishonestly and ignorance after ordering. However, these servers expect great tips with poor...
