I used to come to this store often, but now I seldom come. Today is even worse. I returned all the products because of price cheating. I saw tomatoes at $0.99 per pound, and the checkout was $1.99 per pound. You asked why, they said that I needed to download the digital coupon, I immediately took out my phone to download it, but there was a weak internet signal, which means I needed to go outside to login to my account. I saw the potato chips at $1.99/bag, but on the bill it was +$4/bag, they said you need to buy four bags to get that price but I didn't see that information on the price tag. The Chick-fil-A sauce was priced at $2.99, and the bill was $3.99 and I haven't figured out why. Lots of similar price scams...I feel fooled, so I returned all of the items I bought. The lady at the service center was with a good attitude and I asked her, why is it so complicated to get those discount right now? It used to be very simple before, just scan your membership card and the discount will be added. She replied, now you need to download the digital coupons, I said okay but if I downloaded the coupons first, it would be hard for me to find the exact same products on shelves, so many similar products, different sizes and flavors, it is very time-consuming. She said, then you may try to scan the products to see the coupons when you are in the store. I replied- there is no/weak internet signal inside of the store!! I tried but I couldn't even open your App. I am not a stingy customer. I just spent several hundreds in Costco before entering this Kroger store. But I really don't want to be played like a fool. Davis followed protocol and told me that he could not take presteamed crab legs order over the phone and told me that it could only be done in person, but he told me that he would leave the steamer on until I got there, which I arrived about 8:56 pm. True to his word, he had it in the steamer waiting to turn it on as soon as I got there. This is an exceptional example of customer service, considering that my local Kroger that is 3 minutes away from where I live on 3093 Steve Reynolds Boulevard in Duluth, Ga told me that he was cleaning up and could not steam the crab legs for me, even when I called him 33 minutes ahead of time. That was not even the 1st time. The seafood department in that location could definitely take a page from David's customer service and use it. I am actually a manager myself at an Fortune 500 company and when I see employees that go out of their way to show great customer service, I want them recognized. David's exemplary customer service should be a standard for customer service and be uniformly applied to all departments. The cashier Lisa was outstanding in that she made me laugh and joke to top off my great experience at this Peachtree Industrial Kroger location. Thank you. Read moreI have had many Krogers and I have to say this one is my least favorite. Maybe because it's smaller is why they are lacking a few items i usually shop that other Krogers have.
The biggest annoyance is their deli counter. I have gone several times to find the Deli counter is closed mid-day - why?
Another annoyance is the deli workers fold the plastic "ziploc" bag over and then place the price sticker secure over it to create a smaller item -- actually great in theory but it rips the plast seal proof bag immediately once trying to open it the first time rendering it useless and having to just switch to cling film or something.
There's no drive-thru for the pharmacy like the other locations and I use the Kroger plan for my meds so, this one is an inconvenience that I was just used to previously. They cant help their location/retail center but it's just not great.
Lastly, the front doors and locked once it hits 7pm-or-so, making me think maybe this location is not safe.
One cashier stands out, i hear him trying to help customers and colleagues and with a great attitude. He has a shaved head, if anyone is listening. My apologies for not getting his name.
