I went twice to this place already, the first one it was a great experience since I never had to meet the lady who claim to be a manager 🤦♂️ Ordered a pizza and I really love it ! Second visit was last night, as the first time, Victoria and coworkers greeted me just nice with a smile, I did ordered a beer and a pizza again, at the moment all good until I was told ( very profesional way ) that because they were super busy and no pizzas can’t be ordered at that time ! Very disappointed since I went just for the pizza, so, I decided no to eat and move on to different restaurant and I did let know my waitress and she suggested me “ let speak with our manager and see what we can do “ I said cool please let me know, well from there everything went down .. manager said no to the pizza and I requested if I can speak with the manger( I regretted now ) she came already on fire ! When I told her that I was a little disappointed regarding the situation she “ I’m sorry but we are already making 16 pizzas “ my response was, I do understand that you are busy but I believe you can’t just say “no more pizza “ because you already had a full orders then she did ask me if I know how to make pizza from scratch 🙄 so at that very moment any one would realize that she was ready for some confrontation rather that mediate and resolve, just told her that there’s no need to get so exciting about it since she started to escale her tone, also she did ask me what would be my suggestion to fix the issue 🤦♂️ It’s no my kitchen and I don’t know to much about restaurants but told her I do know about customer service and she keep asking me about what kind of business do I have etc etc ! Just told her have good night and run out that place ! I never get to understand why if you have a business with amazing products, invested a lot of money into it to just show such poor customer service when your patron just crossed the door in ( I did noticed manager was dealing with 2 other customer on different issues ) And here I’m thinking just when I thought that just found a great pizza place.. one person can make the difference good or bad and in this case was...
Read moreIf you want superb, excellent, consistent Italian food, check out Roma in Duluth, GA. By far one of the best Italian restaurants in the metro-Atlanta area. I've been seeking good, authentic Italian food since I moved here 20-years ago. I am thrilled to have Roma in the Berkeley Lake/Duluth neighborhood!
Roma's sauce is exactly like my father-in-law's...who is from Italy & the best Italian chef I've ever met! I think I've finally found a restaurant that rivals my family's cooking.
Since Roma opened, this is our weekly go-to spot. My son's (who are typical picky kids) beg for Roma's pizza. The pizza is made in an imported brick oven from Italy...this is the real deal! The kids have huge appetites & one pizza more than fills them up (we even have enough left over to bring home). The food portions are huge & the prices are very affordable. Every dish that I've had is flavorful & delicious. Did I mention the garlic knots? The desserts? There aren't enough words to describe how much we love Roma's food! This IS authentic Italian food. To get anymore authentic...you're going to have to get on an airplane & visit Italy :)
The staff is always courteous, prompt & greets my family with a warm welcome. The Owner is there 7-days a week & works very hard. It's a family owned & operated casual Italian restaurant. They're pouring their heart & soul into Roma & you can...
Read moreWe arrived around 5:45, got seated around 6pm. More than half of the tables inside and outside were empty. After seating us, we were informed that our table had a reservation at 7pm. Understood, no big deal. We ordered around 6:10. Didn’t get our food until 6:30. Our waitress came to check on us one time after bringing our food, which was around 10 minutes later. I also didn’t get my drink I had asked for until after she brought the food. When she brought my drink, it was the only time she had came up to us. It was to say “let me know when you’re ready for a box” and then set my drink down. I asked for that drink upon being seated. It was a simple sweet tea. We never once got a drink refill, never once were asked if we needed anything, and at one point we thought we were forgotten about. I’m generally a 30%-35% tipper. I enjoy eating out and I make sure to treat any waitress with respect and properly tip them for waiting on us. It was such a disappointment. This is the first bad review I’ve left somewhere. I’m also the type to tell a manager when a waitress or waiter was great. I don’t like to complain about someone because I know we all can have a bad day sometimes. The service we had last night was a 1 out of 10. I gave 3 stars because I enjoyed my appetizer and dish. It...
