The River Church — Attraction in Duluth

Warm and friendly church. Pastor Paul seeks God for direction and preaches life changing messages. Pastor Belle has the youth ministry on Fire for the Lord and Pastor Eric does a great job of leading the church into the presence of the Lord. The River Church has a very strong bible teaching emphasis. It grieves me that 2 people wrote such silly reviews. No, we don't worship river's. We also don't believe that you HAVE to speak in tongues in order to be baptised in the Holy Spirit, but tongues is the evidence that you have been baptised in the Holy Spirit. We are NOT cult like. We believe only what the bible tells us. The River Church has NEVER made anyone feel guilty about giving. I grew up in The River Church when it was called Glad Tidings Assemblies of God. No one expects you to give. Only God asks you to give. So, being the two negative reviews, those must have been there when they did not want to be. The River Church welcomes you just the way you are. The Young Adults and College Ministry Gathering is on fire for Jesus and is being so powerfully impacted by the Spirit of God. So blessed to get to experience God move in Duluth and find a place where I’ve got to meet so many amazing followers of Jesus in my age range 18-30. I’ve prayed for a group like this to get connected with and the Lord has provided… whether you’re new to following Jesus or you’re just curious about the faith you’re welcome to come hang out and enjoy some food and company of people who love God. The Gathering is every Monday @7pm at the Kaio Coffee shop located at 402 N 19th Ave E, Duluth Minnesota. The Monday activities vary between Worship, Bible Study, Game/ Meal and Testimony night, every Monday will be a different topic so if you miss one the next month will recycle in the same order. What an amazing experience we had at The River Church. We were looking for a place to worship during our short visit to Superior Wi. We came upon The River Church in Duluth. The word came forth very simple but yet life changing.
