So I tried to do a free trial a while ago
. It wasn’t the right fit . But I have been being harassed by this specific franchise ever since
I decided to cancel my trial early because of the lack of cleanliness and not feeling safe a night by myself ….. I have been harassed by their employees via phone ever since . I can’t tell you inappropriately timed phone calls I have gotten begging me to join …. If it wasn’t bad enough they call you at 6am … if you don’t answer, they will call you multiple times !! I have asked to be put on a do not call list 4 times now … has not been respected
It’s been over a year of me calling management and complaining and nothing has happened . No respect, do not give them your number or information . I have gone to other anytime fitness locations , not apart of the Duluth franchise and they were much more clean, and got a membership without being harassed 24/7 for years after .
Anytime fitness ain’t bad, but this management sucks so hard, my life is still effected over a year later … i have blocked the number for all of The anytime fitnesses around duluth owned by the same franchise, and their employees just call you on their personal phones instead to harass you
How can i actually get a do not call list, or do I finally just have to give up and change my phone number ? It’s been over a year of being harassed and I’m over it . I literally have to put my phone on do not disturb if I don’t want to...
Read moreI almost don't want to review Anytime because I don't want it to end up as crowded as all the other places I've been. My reasons for joining Anytime are very simple...mainly I want a club that I can go to without worrying about it closing, or closing because of inclement weather or holidays, etc. Some people like to workout on certain holidays when there's nothing to do later in the day (me!). If you've visited Anytime Fitness prior to last year (when they were located on 12th Ave E & Superior St) you'll be amazed by the remodel of the former Stewart's (the current Anytime) at 15th Ave E & Superior. There's even a Jacobs Ladder (google it) and plenty of room for everyone. It looks like a real, complete fitness center that's here to stay. The older location was a little rusty. And you can use your key at all Anytime Fitness locations,...
Read moreAs a out of town visitor my major issue was the layout so here are some tips if its your first time at this location: 1) the cubbies and bathrooms are down the stairs that are on your right when you first walk in. 2) a small open floor is also downstairs if you're in for circuit training, jump rope or stretching. Pretty much all weight machines, cardio machines and free weights are upstairs. I did like the order/layout of the machines. They also had a lot of mirrors if you want to watch your own lifting technique. Otherwise the bathrooms were clean with soap and fairly large in comparison with some gyms I've been in. Perhaps a sign showing what is downstairs would lift my review to a 4 star (unless I missed it and there is already one in place) but if I'm back in Duluth I'll...
