This nursery caters more to the landscape professional like myself. Yes they sell to the retail customer but it's primarily for the professional that knows the name of the plant he/she is seeking, knows the growth habit and the best place to plant it for it to live. The yard staff is Hispanic with limited English however if you can point or tell them the name and quantity of the plant you are seeking they will bust their butt's to get your truck loaded quickly & tie everything down for you. Martin & Frank run the office and are extremely knowledgeable in plants and very friendly. They do not offer a plant life guarantee as you should know what you are buying and the best place to plant it and how to keep it alive. If you want a guarantee on the plant or don't know what to plant or where to plant it, you are better off going to Pike Nursery and paying 3 to 4 times the cost of the plant for the guarantee & the knowledge and time the staff will take to suggest plants for you or maybe go to Home Depot or Lowes and pay 2 to 3 times cost for a plant guarantee so you can get someone that usually works in electrical or plumbing to suggest what you should plant in that wet shady spot in...

Called this morning to see if they warranty, no. Asked if they would check and see if they had any other trees like it in stock, yes.
Not only would they not at least work with me on the price, they wanted to charge an additional $65 more/tree then I paid just 6 months ago.
Too bad, I always like supporting small family business but there's a reason folks prefer Pike!
