Bought a car battery online and put in an alternate pickup person as I'm injured and unable to get to the store myself. My alternate person shows up and is denied the battery already paid for unless he can present MY personal ID and credit card. He called me, I spoke with the clerk and explained I put an alternate pickup person on the order. He replied saying the order sheet he printed out had such small text he couldn't read it and still needed my ID and credit card. I explained it wasn't my responsibility to be inconvenienced due to a technical error of their printer and pointed out an alternate pickup person wouldn't have possession of someone else's ID & credit card, and asked why this was required. He then agreed to verifying the ID of the my pickup person, but still wouldn't give us our battery unless he saw a copy of my credit card. Again, I explained it was already paid for, an alternate pickup person wouldn't have the credit card (and this wasn't notified as needing to be presented when placing the order,) and that it was a digital card anyway and I wasn't about to text or email all of that info to someone else. He then denied us our sale, made us cancel it, and my alternate pickup person had to re-buy it with his own money, which should never have had to happen. Also didn't even give a full refund. It was shorted $53 and had to point this out and fix as well. My God, train your employees how to pay attention to refund amounts, handle an alternate pickup person, and get a better policy for pickup if this is really how it works. You should never be asking customers to send personal information electronically, especially when you already have it in the order. So much unnecessary time and stress. Never...
Read moreIf I could leave a negative star review I would. Brought my iPhone 7 Plus in to get a a new charging port. Get to the store and the phone tech implored me to get a new batterie as well even know it was holding charge the day prior... so I gave in and said ok to the new battery against my better judgement. And 2 hours later after them saying it should be about 45-an hour I return to my phone not even turned on? I was in a rush so I left being told, and assuming that it was working, I get home and shake my phone to learn they didn’t glue down the battery, which smashed into internal components, broke my speaker and also rebroke the charging port that I went in for that day!!! Went back the next day to make them fix there mistakes but apparently this company is ran by conman and thief’s because they charged me AGAIN the next day for the replacement to the original replacement. Also the fact that they said they would give me a call when my phone was ready should tell you the intelligence level at this establishment. Wish there was a place you could feel comfortable bringing your electronics to without feeling like they just took...
Read moreThe Florida heat is just as hard on.auto batteries as ths cold..they say. But, it appears to be even harder on battery, I say. So, when looking to buy a battery, consider cost, warranty (full repacement and/or the horrible depreciated pro-rate, and install fee). I found the associates here knowledgeable and friendly. Why woulndn't be? They are in the auto/marine battery business (they do not have the same tupe of commission incentive as tire stores). They have Duracell auto batteries and even the new batteries the new powerful multi-device handling ones, with no liquid. Their warranty is FULL replacement for how ever many years you purchase and applicable at any of their stores nationwide. And they install for FREE. I highly recommend checking them out. Then remember wherever you purchase... to take a picture of your battery in your car..then note its specified number. My friend had her battery switched during auto servicing. Good Luck. The parking is tight there. They are located same side of 19 south, next door to the Ramada Inn right before the traffic light...
