North Pointe Shopping Center — Attraction in Durham

A strip mall of sorts. The kroger here is great and full of employees willing to help, or to lend a smile. The PetSmart is great! They offer many services including grooming, veterinarian services, dog training, pet adoptions, and all the food, supplies and toys your pet would ever need. The Home Depot is easy in and out. Which is great when I'm working on a weekend project and need something quickly. The Great Clips here is nice. Walk in or make an appointment, including checking in right before you leave the house so they already have you on the list when you arrive. The Game Stop here is about as big as any other one. They offer pretty much whatever you need, or they can get it for you. Friendly staff and it's quick and easy to pre-order games. GNC knocks out all my nutritional needs I can't get at the Kroger next door. The parking lot is plenty big for this shopping center and you won't have a problem finding parking, or ever park too far away. There are also other shopping oppurtunities near by to satisfy whatever else you want. Including a great Chinese place (my husband's favorite one locally) Costco, Ross, Bed Bath and Beyond, IHOP (This one has the worst service ever though), Texas road house, Verizon store, Nail salon, Martial Arts center (I know the man personally and have all of my life, I highly recommend him) and many more things only slightly...

I hate I give North Pointe's Shopping Center a 3,however i cannot ever pull into the parking lot and actually make it into a store w/o being approached by someone asking for money..although iv no problem helping people as I do so often,this seems to be a big issue in this particular shopping center and makes me uncomfortable when im trying to get my son into Great Clips for a quick haircut or Kroger for groceries. I love the shopping center itself and get wonderful service in the 4 places i go (Kroger,Great Clips,Game Stop and PetSmart) so my review isn't soley based on any particular shop,just the entire shopping center. Parking is a bit hard to find as it's very busy and people are everywhere,but my satisfaction in these actual...

Pet Co has lost my business forever! i have spent a lot of money there, but had to drive 30+ miles to buy the fish, and take them home. Then they died and some of my fish were killed. The 14 day policy on returning dead fish only cost me more money because of having to make the 30+miles trip again. In started keeping fish again when I moved to Oxford over a year ago. I bought aquariums, filters, fish and everything needed to set up the tanks, 7 tanks, as small as 5 gal and as large a 55 gallons. I have been keeping fish for more than 45 years and never had fish die like they do when I buy them...
