The place seems like they need one of those sterilization cleaning crews to come in and give the place a strip down cleaning. It has none slip grip floors and they look like they are given a go over every night with a mop but if there wasn't grit in the painted floors it feels like you would be sliding around do to the grease on the floors that just had built up over time and didn't come up with a mop either that or they just don't change the no heads out enough and being a steak house which is going to have alot of grease I wouldn't say that it's from complete neglect as it is not nasty just a film of grease that covers the floors either do to not having a set cleaning regiment to get it all up on top of regular cleaning or not chaining it no heads more then most places because of the level of grease that comes with a restaurant like a steak house. Which could be a cheaper solution as long as it keeps up a regular closing schedule just swapping out the things that are responsible for getting that kind of stuff up and using cleaners on it that are for stripping grease could be all it needs. It will still take one big cleaning from top to bottom before that would work though. The biggest issue I had was with my steak at a steak house . The appetizers were good the rolls were not hot and fresh. With that said I order a medium steak that should've come out with a light pink center, but instead it came out bleeding dark red that when I stuck my knife in I swear I heard it MOO. I sent it back, which usually sucks because if it doesn't come out right the first time usually it will not come out with same quality it would've the first time. That's exactly what happen it came back over done partially charcoal, tough, with the moisture gone, and it being a steak house that cost more money to enjoy a steak because that's supposed to be the center piece of the business it was disappointing to spend 70 dollars for 2 people and get a bad steak at a steak house. 1 of my sides was chili and the other a loaded sweet potato. The chili was not good. It tasted like it was cheap, old, or like it was canned, like gas station chili they would have to put on hotdogs. It did not taste like it was made there or fresh from a house of meat like it should've. The sweet potato was great along with the appetizer. They by far were the best thing in my meal as far as the 2 things that should've been the best the steak and chili they were huge disappointments. The person I ate with got the ribs and said they were great . Had a friendly waitress and staff. So other then needing a deep sterilization cleaning and in sure if it's in the front it needs it in the back to . The FLOORS, tables, seats, silverware, glasses all of the above need a cleaning and possibly training on how to keep...
Read moreMy family and I have dined at this Texas Roadhouse for years, yet with the passing years the service and food has gotten bland and unacceptable. I recently dined in a week ago, Friday April 19th 2024, and I swore to my family as well as my waitress, local supervising manager, and several other Texas Roadhouse employees that it would be the last time I ever eat here. We arrived at 12:39 p.m. and were seated within 10 minutes, I ordered a bowl of chili and I was served a cold bowl of chili. The dinner rolls we were served are NOT the same dinner rolls that melt in your mouth. Bland dinner rolls which anyone can notice are made with cheaper ingredients, yet the prices remain the same. I had to search and flag down my waitress to show her my cold chili bowl because she didn't check in on us to make sure our food service was good. I showed the waitress my cold chili bowl, she expressed a nonchalant apology. We ended up waiting an entire hour before we were served our food, I kept track of time and saw on my watch we were served at 1:41 p.m. If that wasn't bad enough, once my main entree was served, the steak and ribs were cold to the touch and undercooked. Once again, I had to flag down my waitress and show her my undercooked cold steak and ribs. An acting manager came around checking on tables and asked us if everything was "ok", when I showed her my cold plate of food and expressed my frustration of the bad service, she didn't have much to say and only said she'd "get my order right". By the time I was served my steak & ribs, of course my two sides got cold and I was so upset from the poor poor service. By the time we finished our food, a different employee was checking in on all of the tables and we could all see he clearly hesitated to come over and ask us if we were doing ok or needed anything. By the time he finally came over, I told him as well how disappointed I was with the unacceptable service we received. He too just superficially apologized, showing no empathy or concern for how we treated. We were disgusted with the service we received, and the fact that the manager didn't identify herself and dodged us, made it clear they didn't care at all. The staff that attended us forget they are minorities too! We did not even receive a discount on our bill. We paid $84.46 for such disgusting service. If i want cold food and unfriendly service, I'll just stay home and open my refrigerator, than waste my money at the Texas Roadhouse! It's laughable really, the waitresses and waitors have time and energy to be dancing up and down all in sync on the floor to celebrate birthday's or their favorite song playing on the radio, when they should focus and direct that motivation towards providing excellent service in a...
Read moreI met a dear friend here for lunch at her suggestion! She would arrive there 15 min after me, so I decided to sit at a booth and just have an appetizer while I waited for her! I also wanted to place her dinner order ahead so she could eat as soon as she arrived on lunch break. I had a little bit of a struggle convincing the hostesses to agree to my doing so, even though via her own admission “the restaurant was not crowded!” I answered her suggestion that I had to wait for my friend in the bar with the fact that “I am too short to sit at the bar, and as a senior citizen I would probably fall trying to climb up on the bar stool!” To that she stoically replied “Then I need you to stand over there by the red wall!” Which I did for 5 min. And quietly watched other patrons come in and immediately be seated! The good part in all of this is, when I went back and asked her why I was waiting “on the red wall; she explained she was waiting for her sitter to come back to seat me…the gentleman who had passed by me a few times already! Ok enough with that exciting part of my dinning at Texas Roadhouse! If you would ask me would I eat there again, my answer would be “Yes probably, if I was in a hurry to find something to eat that was better than OK!” As far as a chain restaurant (environment) goes it has a very decent menu if you are a meat eater! Sorry Vegetarian and Vegan folks, even the veggie sides apparently have meat in them! I did have a delicious baked sweet potato and my friend had the baked white potato as a menu option with her main course. I would not say everything else that I had was delicious but it was better than Ok! I don’t eat bread normally but their warm rolls served first thing were very tasty good! The wait staff was decent and friendly enough but not polished or impressively attentive! The air conditioning was not working on our side of the restaurant and the overhead fan was off! It was warm, but our waiter did reach up and turn it on upon our request! All in all, I think most restaurant goers would be perfectly satisfied with dining at this Texas Roadhouse...
