It was only once at this location that I used Geek Squad's service, but after their online service today, I really feel I should post a review about my experience with this company.
I've used their service 3 times in the past 14 years or so, and each time, horrible results. Here is the timeline. Business plans should have STP!

Given my experience with your service, it's as if you are working very hard to downsize your company!!!
2002: First time using your service. My labtop was lost by the Best Buy Geek Squad! I was moving out of state and I was young, so I just let it go.
2006 - 2007: Second time using your service.
Best Buy Geek Squad Mobile phone protection plan. My phone broke, your agents took it and talked me into renting a phone, assuring me it would be at most 10 days. The over all process from me turing in my phone to Geek Squad returning it took, no exaggeration, over 40 days! Additionally my rental phone bill was very high $!
2016: Third time, installing a popular antimalware software your company is suppose to support. The product labeled as coverage for my mobile device and labtop or desktop. I was having.issues with getting the "invitation code" for the application on my mobile so i went to the software company's help desk, they pointed me to your help desk, your agent pointed me back to the antimalware help desk, who than, (surprise!) pointed me back to Geek Squad. (I say again, Business plans should have STP !!!! )
The next agent attempted to help, but was convinced my plan did not cover mobile devices, (it clearly says it does), so he pointed me to one version of the antimalware available for mobile, told me this is the only mobile app available, (which is not true, had the agent done more than a glance at company's apps available, he would have seen it as I had, prior to contacting them), and than the agent ends the conversation saying something like "Thanks for stopping by Geek Squad. Have a nice day!" followed by a termination to the connection.
HORRIBLE TRACK RECORD!

Read moreI had a last minute appointment at this location for an iPhone 12 Pro that needed a LCD replacement screen as it had JUST gone out a couple hours earlier in the day. If I'm going to be honest, I was about 10 minutes late but they still took me in for my appointment. I was told to sit at table 1 and Adam came to help me after a couple of minutes (no worries on waiting since I made them wait already). I explained what was going on to the best of my knowledge and he was able to let me know what they offered and what they could do in the short amount of time we had. He was able to understand me 100% and made the request to repair my phone as fast as possible in addition to explaining to me everything that was going to go on. He was also very friendly! I was informed it would be about an hour repair (I got there at 6:50PM), so I was just hanging out. Eventually, got my phone and everything looks good. I was very satisficed with the service I received as well as how fast it was able to be done! Everyone who was currently working seemed to really know their stuff and it made me feel a lot more confident on the service I was receiving! Cheers to Adam.

Read moreI wanted a cracked screen repair, but was made to wait a long time for a consultation. The mandatory "Diagnostic Consent Form" gives them permission to download and upload their software onto my phone and accept agreements for the same, and to access all the data and information on the phone that they want to.
I am a lawyer and have client confidential information on my phone, so this was simply a non-starter. There was no way to opt out of this even if it was for a cosmetic thing like a screen crack. This seemed completely unnecessary and disrespectful to their customers' time to have to sit through this fishing expedition for any additional services or bloatware they might want to install while pawing through the phone's data.
