Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Eagan

Usually I don’t write reviews for a fast food place since I don’t have very high expectations anyway. However my experience with my drive through was definitely not what Im accustomed to at other chick fila locations and hours later I’m still thinking about it. First off, I resonate with what the others have said regarding the person taking the order, she seemed rushed and rude. Even though she said my pleasure at the end, but you can definitely tell it was not her pleasure one bit. I got a diet lemonade but was given a normal one, which is a big deal since I currently have gestational diabetes. Ordered a salad, when to get my order at the pick up window, was only then asked if I wanted dressing? Not what kind of dressing, but rudely do you want dressing? Who wouldn’t want dressing with their salad and isn’t it usually comes with a certain kind anyway for the specific salad you order? I got the salad with chicken tenders instead of the grilled chicken, the tenders looked like end bits and pieces. It had been a while since I have last was able to have chick-fil-a and last Friday 12/23, I drove past around lunch time and was craving a spicy sandwich. I ordered my food as normal and when I got to the window for payment I was asked if I would be able to pay cash today as their credit card system was down. I rarely have any cash in my wallet and this day was no different. When I told the worker no, they informed me that they would take care of it that day, on the house. I fully would have understood and accepted had they turned me away. This kind of generosity was greatly appreciated and I really can’t say thank you enough! I know this time of year can be tough in service industry, but it is so appreciated to be treated like I hope to treat others with kindness. Service like this is unbeatable and so appreciated in these times. I was having a bad day at at work and stressed out over holidays. Recently visited the drive thru of this Chick Fil A, ordered a large Kale Crunch salad. I was basically ignored as I was waiting on my food with the window open while the a manager quizzed the drive thru team member about the components of a salad (not my particular salad) while two others team members gathered at the window engaged in that conversation. As I waited for my salad. Once I finally got my salad one of the girls just handed me the bag... no napkins, no fork, no thank you, no my pleasure. Then I thought back to a few weeks before when I ordered chicken strips and had to place them in the air fryer when I got home because they weren't completely cooked. So this isn't my first negative experience, I relocated from Duluth Georgia a few months ago where the Chick Fil A experience is very different.
