Stayed in town for a family reunion, but we were pleasantly surprised to find the county fair taking place the same weekend. Great live music, good food, and friendly vendors made for a good experience.

We had fun at the faire. It is not as big as it use to be but it was still good.

Crowded, crowded, crowded during the cranberry festival. A total mad house. Difficult to move around or navigate the area. Couldn't see even a 10th of what was there due to wall to wall people. The fair grounds are way, way too small for this event. Need a space 8 times the size and twice as many vendors to handle the crowds. Include benches picnic tables, places for lawn chairs etc. for the visitors Some of the crafts were in a separate location down town. That location was much nicer. Parking was also unrealistic even with many businesses opening up there lots to help. A much larger venue with commensurate parking and amenities absolutely needs to be secured before next year. Maybe a 35 acre field or larger with plenty of parking and lots of space between vendors. On the whole everyone was polite and...

Went to Cranberryfest here a couple weeks ago. Packed with vendors and booths. Parking was insane but at least they had so many people with flags helping getting in and out. As for the fairgrounds...well, I walked throughout to see different tents and vendors. It seemed good. The grass was good, no dust. As crazy packed as it was that weekend, I will still go back next year to Cranberryfest. The changing of the leaf colors made the drive beautiful. Eagle River is quite a place. I say go...

This is really a review on Cranberry Fest, than the fair grounds. The grounds themselves are very nice. However, Cranberry Fest certainly did not live up to the hype it received. It was really a large vendor fair. Now everyone was very nice. However, if this is a family friendly event it should be a bit more family friendly. Our kids got pretty bored. And there was a lot of walking around to look at vendors. This was really an open-air market, and not a fest,...
