HomeGoods — Attraction in East Brunswick Township

I usually like shopping at this HomeGoods but buying big furniture items/items you can't just carry out is a bit of a hassle here. First I asked someone on the floor if I could get assistance with some furniture items and bringing them to the front. No one ever called for someone to come assist me, after waiting around I approached another employee who finally helped me bring it to the front. Waited in line and paid for the items and told them I would be driving the car around to the front of the store. When I finally parked in front and tried to enter the store the person working the door told me I had to wait in line. Why would I have to wait in line to go grab furniture I just finished paying for and it was already set aside no more than 5 minutes prior. Ridiculous, there seems to be a big disconnect between the cashiers and the floor personnel. Also as the holidays are approaching there needs to be better management of staffing levels...

The review is based solely on how the merchandise is marked and has nothing to do with customer service because they were all quite nice and helpful.

The items that I picked up had price stickers all at the front of the items. It’s very frustrating especially since one of the items is a wood serving tray (of the four trays available they all had stickers on the front) You risk scratching the item when you have to scrap the sticker off. Not to mention the time it takes to scratch it off carefully. Please consider training staff to put at the bottom of item which seems to be standard in other HomeGoods. I bought travertine bookends, a tray and candles and all of the items had the sticker...

I'm writing from my husbands Google account but oh MY GOODNESS. This store is my absolute weakness. I can't even begin to tell you how much I spend here, they always have the variety of home décor that I'm looking for. I even come across things I never knew I needed. My entire house is all HomeGoods décor and accessories. Thank you for constantly re-stocking and changing your floor plan, you make me spend hours here because I am always so intrigued. All of the aisles are full of surprises and sales and the clearance section makes my soul happy. Okay, now that I've written this long review, I'm going to get dressed and go shopping .. here......
