My experience with scheduling a home security system installation through Best Buy customer service that used a third party is a nightmare! I can’t believe an organization can have such a unprofessional install company for home security. The Best Buy customer service will schedule any window time you choose, then you will get a call 6-6:20 pm night before from 3rd party that they are coming between 2-6 or 3-6 pm regardless of your availability when I requested 7-1 window. First incident appointment made in East Hanover store when I purchased equipment, I received call from Maria in late evening around 6 pm night before scheduled date, the third party install for home security installation called night before and said it was changed to 3-6 pm , when I told her that I am not available, they continued to reach out and called me 30 minutes prior to arrival, said they are on their way between 6-6:30pm. Maria from 3rd party said she will reschedule to Friday am and will ask her supervisor, no call back. Went to store manager, East Hanover, spoke with jordy to reschedule and told him how they are changing scheduling window. He scheduled again am, same exact process, again received call from 3rd party trying to get me to go along with evening appointment change and informed me day before, 3rd party calling to confirm night before at 6-6:30 pm. same call again day prior to installation before from Maria, said 7-1 was scheduled 3-6 pm, told her not available, again she told me 11-2 and told me she will call my supervisor to change. Dishonest again, this time said they will come 11-2, I get a call from them at 6:19 tonight saying that they were on their way over!! Really, Best Buy, you should be ashamed!!! Same exact nonsense on all appointments, management did not respond to my email. bb will schedule and third party will decide at 6 pm night before when they feel like coming! Read moreOne should not make mistake choosing Best Buy over other stores. We ordered a washing machine and dryer on Feb 18,2019 at 6:31PM, PAID IN FULL. We were suppose to get delivery on 3/23/2019, given pick up window 12 to 6 pm. A week before we got a call for delivery confirmation, A day before delivery, we got another call for confirming our order would be delivered. On the day of delivery, We got a call from Miera/Mira - customer service of Best Buy, she asked us to call store or VISIT the store to find out information on whats going on with our unit since they do not see them on the system and the order is not available for delivery. She said she is not able to talk to the store, she wanted me to drive to the store and find out what the issue is on my own. After couple calls to the store- spoke to Aaron in appliances he tried to find out the issue , got a call from driver saying I will be at your location in 20 mins, another call from driver saying I am at your house. I was at my house and NO ONE WAS THERE for any delivery. I went to the East Hanover store around 5pm. Spoke to the Appliance Manager - Kevin Jarrett, he also tried to find out the problem, he emailed warehouse manager and advised us as soon as he get back to him he will call us. He called around 9 pm the same day saying he did not get any update. Till Now No update on the FULL PAID Appliances. No response from Nobody..
