I would have to give the ELA store this rating not because of the merchandise quality nor the sales experience, but in house communication between departments. First time 2016, was told to expect a call from the driver an 1hr prior to arrival between 9am-12pm (as per the sales lady)did not get any calls. When I called, I was told that the sales lady shouldn't have disclosed such details since the warehouse/delivery was a different department. Merchandise arrived around 4pm and the delivery guys were done close to 5:30pm since they also assembled the furniture. Now Dec 2017, because my mother wanted a new dinning set with additional pieces she asked to go back here because of the convince of the store and quality. Once again, we were kindly asked if we had any preference in the delivery date and time. Very briefly and without sharing much details about my previous experience, the sales lady assured us that if she would add notes to our system, there wouldn't be ANY inconvenience with this order. This was purchased last week on Saturday, delivery was scheduled for Monday(yesterday) after 4pm as per sales rep. My family waited, made sure someone would be present to avoid missing the delivery. No delivered made. Today is Tuesday, I called the warehouse in the morning to know what was going on with the delivery. This time I was told that this delivery was never scheduled since it was a (back order)?! Was questioned if my sales gal had communicated that to me. Mind you that my parents dinning room was empty awaiting. I reached out to the store and the sales department said that there was plenty of merchandise for us, and said she would take care of it. I was told by the warehouse department that "I was not the only client awaiting for merchandise, that her delivery guy communicated that he had other deliveries still pending and would call today 20 minutes prior to arrival" still 8:16pm now, no delivery. I am pleased with the quality of my purchased merchandise, but an urgent staff/department meeting is needed to change for the best of customers. I find it very hard to believe that they can't give an ETA on purchased merchandise when we're being told our home is in the same city where the warehouse is located, payment has been posted and all references have checked out. I am only sharing this because its very unpleasant to be expecting a delivery all day.In all honesty, I truly hope customer feedback helps y'all better off your service in all departments because I am sure there's a lot of customers that have dealt with this inconvenience. Read moreI’m giving 1 start to the guys that came to assemble my furniture. One of them came into my home being rude. He was dropping the furniture like if he paid for it. I paid almost $200 for delivery and assembly. The rude guy made it seem like he was doing it for free. I’m not sure if the crack from my dining table came from the warehouse or if the rude guy caused it from throwing my furniture around. I called to complain and they didn’t care. Aside from that, the furniture is decent for the price. I would not recommend to get it delivered and assembled by the guys they have working there. They’re extremely rude and very unprofessional and they don’t assemble the furniture right. I have a missing piece to my kids bunk beds that makes the ladder wobble a lot and the drawers are crocket. My question is, was it not properly assembled or are the drawers damaged too? Like I said, I paid almost $200 for delivery and assembly (yes I already mentioned it). I was hoping it would’ve been professionally delivered and assembled. My husband, my son and I stayed outside the WHOLE time out of their way because the guy looked mad and I didn’t have the energy to say anything. We were never in their way or didn’t make any comments to them. We still offered them drinks and tipped them even though they had a horrible attitude. He was mad upon arrival. He probably hates his job but that’s no one’s fault. I hope they don’t end up telling me most dining tables come with minor damages. So why does the one you guys have in display not damaged ? Read moreCustomer service is horrible here. I walk in today with my husband and children. A lady by the name of Flora help me out in the beginning she was so rude. Keep in mind I'm a returning customer. My information including social should had been on the system. Well this lady was convinced that I didn't had a social but an ITIN which if I did, I wouldn't had mind given her my information. But I kept repeating myself to her and telling her I had a social(repeated myself like 10× not exaggerating). But she even told me it's an ITIN you have. She didn't bother to asked me for my social, just my assumed and asked for my ID. And she had the audacity to tell me is that clear. I had take my children to the car and leave them with my husband. So, I can come back and speak to a supervisor. I spoke to Maria Avalos which let me tell if you really want to buy something here go to her instead. She explained to me that they had a new system and was able to pull out my information. I end up buying the item I went in from her. But then again she's the supervisor, the sale people sit against a wall waiting for someone. If you don't look like a potential client they'll walk away from you.
