(Ignore my ring and swollen finger in the photo, my Wife's ring was the one they made) I was referred here by my brother who ordered a beautifully made custom ring from David. I wanted to get my fiance a custom ring because the one I got her originally was cheaply made and to be honest, looked better online than in person. As soon as we walked in, David greeted us and was super friendly, Not salesy at all, but very considerate. Even though we were only a little over a month away from the actual date we needed the ring for, he said he could get it done. He walked us through the process, gathered our design ideas and inspiration and gave us a rough but honest quote. Through the process of the ring being completely custom 3d modeled and designed, we had our doubts regarding how the ring would look. We trusted the Jeweler's expertise and couldn't be happier that we did. The ring ended up ABSOLUTELY gorgeous (posting an updated picture here once I bust my DSLR out haha). We had no issues with payments, feeling like we were going to be scammed or anything. It was just good business and I wish more businesses would operate this way. Not only that, but David and the team are just good people. Santa especially is a ton of fun, she had my fiancé and me bent over laughing at some points in the conversation. That being said, they still kept it professional yet relational. I highly recommend going to Swiss American for your jewelry needs, especially custom. It turns out that the ring we got was so fairly priced, it ended up appraising for more than we had it custom-made for (the workmanship...
Read moreIn response to your late response. I have bought jewelry from Pawn Shops and I haven't had a problem. Like my earrings that the salesperson liked, I bought those at Tucker's Pawn Shop. I have bought Diamond Earrings and a diamond cross at Reed's Pawn Shop and Never had a problem. Just because you have been a family owned business for over 65 years, it doesn't mean you are perfect. Years in business gives you achievement on lies to deceive a customer. I didn't walk in there to give a bad review, I wanted to purchase a chain for my Diamond Cross that I had paid for in full at Reed's Pawn Shop with my bank card. I find it a bit deceiving when I see a bunch of people in the back of this business acting unprofessional. What are you complaining about?? You made $77.00 Cash, from me!! I made a bad decision on jewelry and it cost me $77. You are Implying that I switched the chain. What you don't know is when I got home, I inspected the chain and took pictures in the bright light and that's when I saw the chain that was broken but had been repaired. I called you and left a message. I still have the pictures! I still give you the 1 Star for your Unprofessional Attitude! May God Bless You and Your Family...
Read moreWouldn’t recommend it, I bought jewelry and they would keep my card info and alone charge my debit card without my consent I ask about it and they would just say it was by accident. I would believe it happened once but it happened several times. Also with this pandemic they weren’t very supportive, I told them if I could put on hold my payment because my family and I had gotten covid and didn’t work due to that and they said no that they needed the money. Everywhere else was helpful with putting the payment on hold. All I needed was 2 months and I was going to pay the 2 months plus the upcoming month due instead I had to pay a late fee for both months I still ended up paying what I owed. I was just asking for 2 months until I got back on my feet. This was during November. I finished paying my account so I can close it. I would not go back and purchase anything from them. They’re also very rude. If you do purchase just be careful with these people make sure to keep an eye on your bank account cause they will take money without your consent. & I was a customer before they comment I wasn’t like they did on other post with...
