First time here today, I couldn't of picked a better day. They are having a re-opening sale, on top of the discounts they already offer. Expect lines, both to go in and to check out. Definitely worth the wait though. They have social distancing in place and require masks to shop, as all other establishments. Enough parking in the medium sized parkinglot around the corner. As many of you, i had already been shopping online and catching some random deals on stuff i wanted, thanks nike.com. As a big fan of the work the Nike and Jordan brand do, the first thing I thought when I heard things were going to re-open was "i need to hit my local nike store to see what deals they have in there". Best decision ever. I was able to get all the athletic clothes I needed for the summer. Instead of waitting for them in the mail, I walked out with them. All except one piece, i shall have to hop back on the app for that long sleeve compression top. They did have the bottoms, all colors and a some material variety. Didn't even make it to the back wall of shoes before I found the ones I was taking home with me. Zoom Rize Basketball shoe on an insane discount. I don't know what els to say, other than get over...
Read moreManagement needs to do a better job with hiring. At least two of the employees are, what I can only assume, backdooring shoes. Today my wife saw a pair of dunks lows but the employees would not let them go. “They are not ready for purchase “, is what we were told. What! They are literally in your hands ready to be stocked. A manager (Diana) had to get involved in order for us to purchase these shoes, but not before the lady (curly hair) called my wifey crazy. The two employees on the floor were so rude and unprofessional. No customer service at all. They should not be near people. All this could have been avoided. All you had to do is your job and not to save shoes for family/friends/selfs, or whomever. As for the busted employee that called my wife “crazy”, you need to fix your attitude. You will get nowhere treating people this way. You are a burden to this company and should not be working there. My wife should not come home crying after what was supposed to be a fun day of...
Read moreTo cut is short and simple this is a back door store and Nike corporate should really step in and change things around. Why do I say this? Pretty simple 1. While other stores (The Grove, Watts, Torrance, Santa Monica) already have product on the floor (drops) this store holds back until some obscure time which is reserved for employees, friends (basically resellers). 2. The general public doesn’t get a chance to get in on a drop because by the time they bring whatever’s left the resellers are already hovering around the middle bin grabbing everything and literally out in the open trading pairs before they even purchase them. The funny thing is Watts had a Dunk drop that was already out and had sent me to this store to get my size. I asked about it and seems like the manager got offended as I was not supposed to know...
