This review is for the East Peoria Latchkey Program and Summer Camp: The East Peoria Park District Latchkey Program/Summer Camp is a joke. While the cost of care is attractive, keep in mind you get what you pay for. Most of the caretakers are college kids who do nothing, but sit in the back of the room to "watch the children" and yell across the room to correct behavior. We pulled our child for multiple reasons. Some of them include making the children watch, on average, four movies a day at all-day camps, directors being close-minded and extremely defensive about parent questions and suggestions regarding the care, caretakers telling the children to "shut up” (and denying it) and putting our child’s health in jeopardy by ignoring medical needs/requirements multiple times.
