Beware the cross stitching grannies. I’d recommend bringing a chair and sitting near the playground away from the covered picnic tables. I sat on the bench just close enough to hear a group of cross stitching women complaining about my kids (2&4) yelling and playing too loudly for their liking. When my kids squealing in delight led their comments on how my youngest needed a nap, they only were screaming if they were bleeding as children, I decided to go elsewhere.
