There's only one suggestion I have: please consider having an accessible entrance. Thankfully, kind customers helped me get my son in his wheelchair up through the front door (thank you whoever you are) and also helped us out. I was told they just redid the sidewalks and they used to have a ramp. It would be great if more cities/towns replaced ramps if they removed them, or took into consideration with new construction accessibility.

Onto my review of the Cafe. We were determined to enjoy a delicious coffee and organic breakfast for mothers day. Although periods were quite busy, it never felt that way and there was plenty of room in the building. It's a combination of a historic rustic with modern farm to table type atmosphere. There's a lot of light and a nice, laid back vibe. My son was pulled up to a window table with no issues.

The coffee is stone creek which is WONDERFUL. I had the drip coffee with sugar free caramel syrup. My son and I split the DV sandwich and granola bowl with yogurt and fruit. Although the sandwich looks small, do not be fooled. It's made with a homeade sweet potato roll (we checked if they sold them because it was so good and they don't) that is perfectly aromatic, tasty and filling in its own right. I split the sandwich and bowl with my son and we were perfectly happy and full. My friend had the sandwich and she also was very satisfied.

We truly enjoyed our mothers day breakfast and will definitely be back. Service was prompt at the register. Prices are what you expect at a coffeehouse. There is a good variety in the menu. They sell some produce, cheese, eggs, sauces, jams, and pantry products also.

If you haven't tried this gem, please do! You are...

I was recommended this place like a year and a half ago and let me tell you, this place is to die for. I always get an iced white chocolate chai latte and it’s the bomb! I always pick up my drink in the early morning and it’s a great drink to start off my day. Every weekday there is either Vivian or Sophia; those two are the BEST (there was another girl who worked every morning on the weekdays but I don’t know if she still works there—never got her name). There was another guy there named Randy as well, I am not sure if he still works there anymore but he made my drink in the morning sometimes as well. I just wanna say you guys are AWESOME!

There was another gentleman that was working this morning. He is so sweet. I was running late for my college class today and was just a little stressed, so I needed a hookup of my usual. I gave a call to the café this morning and was answered with a different voice on the phone. Usually it would be Vivian or Sophia, but nope. It was a different voice on the phone! I was asking if my fav baristas were working today but he was opening this morning. I was in luck today, this sweet gentlemen asked about my order over the phone and pre-made my drink since I was running late. I forgot his name since I was in a rush, but I just wanna say that you are the best! I am hoping to see you again so I can get your name the next time!

You guys keep being awesome, especially the people named in...

Not like it used to be. Their menu doesn’t seem to rotate seasonally like it used to, and their seasonal drink menus don’t get updated quickly. Their food is really hit or miss, sometimes they serve bacon that is so overcooked it will literally hurt your teeth, other times it’s not bad- but still not as good as it used to be when they first opened. However, their cupcakes are delicious. Drinks are usually good, but sometimes seem to be clearly missing an ingredient- in winter I ordered a peppermint mocha to go and after leaving realized it had no peppermint. The staff is friendly, though often seems distracted. 90% of the time when I go in and specify I am dining in- even if I explicitly ask for my drink to be put in a mug- I still receive it in a paper cup. This is a little thing, but for me it’s half the reason I go to a cafe- for the aesthetic. It also can affect the quality of the product I receive- for example twice now I have ordered a tea for here and been given it in a to go cup, which means I end up with an overpacked loose tea bag in a small amount of water, resulting in a very bitter tea, rather than in a french press as they typically serve it for in house orders. Overall, I still go because options in the area are limited and they have good vibes. But I really wish they would have retained the quality that they used to have. It’s frustrating to spend $5-8 on a drink and have it not be...

What...a... freaking.... adorable place!! This was right up my alley. And so nice to see something like this away from the big cities. My only complaint is no one greeted us or said anything as we left. I have never been here before and wasn't sure how to proceed on eating and dining in. Nonetheless, the food was more then great. The lady who took our order was very helpful. My boyfriend and I both had a cup of soup and a entree. Also they had cold filtered water on tap, with cool stainless steel cups. Not to mention the decor was really neat, very rustic/earthy/sustainable. I had the vegan white bean and kale soup. Really rich, deep developed flavors. My boyfriend had the clam, corn and potatoe chowder, which he raved about. And that is saying alot because he doesn't like clam chowder, but ordered it on accident, not seeing it had clams. I had the roasted carrot tacos. The tortillas were awesome, I've never had anything like them before. The flavor of the overall taco was interesting and different to me (and I'm mostly vegan). But I loved it. My boyfriend had the grassfed meatball sandwich. He loved the real fresh mozzarella on top, as well as the flavor of the meatballs. His only complaint was that it was kind of messy to eat. But that is normal for a meatball sandwich in my opinion...a good one anyhow. So overall, this place won me over. After all, isn't it all about the food?

Have been here several times before, over the last 5 years. It has always been good, and this last visit was no exception. It's located on the the square in downtown East Troy. Its one of the vintage looking building, painted blue with green striped awnings. It has great curb appeal, and very welcoming. There are outside cafe tables, and plenty of seating inside for different size groups. Not only are they a coffee house, but they serve an wide ranging menu of foods, and there are grocery items that you can purchase, including dairy, eggs, and meats. Lot of other items for gifting. Got a very friendly greeting from the cashier. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam), in a mug. The blueberry scones looked amazing so I got one of those as well (they make all their bakery on sight). Everything was excellent. Lots of micro-bubbles in the latte, plenty of blueberries in the scone. I forgot to bring my book along, but they have a very eclectic selection, so I able to peruse some titles that I had not seen before. Overall, another great experience. One of my favorite places in Walworth County.
