I’ve experienced bad customer service, but this was a first: NO service at all! The online menu and ingredients are written largely in Italian and when I called with a question (picture and topping list on a pizza didn’t match), there was no answer - just a recording telling me order online. They have one way to order, one size of pizza, and no delivery OR eat-in despite there being no mandate banning it. They even CHARGE extra for red pepper flakes, I’ve never seen that before, and I eat out a constantly, all over the country, as I travel for work. Maybe there’s something special about their red pepper flakes, but their menu doesn’t indicate anything and, again, you can’t call and ask! On top of that it was an hour and fifteen minute wait just to pick it up myself, and the website tried to automatically add a tip! For what?! I like pizza and I like supporting local businesses. This place does make good pizza (only reason for second star) but their business model is 0% focused on customer experience and a small town like East Troy is no place for this level of snobbery and arrogance. If you have any questions, like to order by phone, want to eat in, want it delivered, want a larger size pizza, don’t read Italian, like to pay with cash, or aren’t computer savvy, then keep looking because you are NOT...
Read moreOrdered 2 pizzas online. First grade would be for the website Ordering. Finally a site that is detailed and user friendly . Very nice! Second grade would be the customer service. To see people in the food industry that actually smile and are present is rare. Third grade would be for the pizza. Asked for the sausage and pepperoni to be extra charred, a choice on the Togo order system. The crust was perfect. Charred, and crispy. The sausage was heavy on fennel which was a great pizza sausage flavor. Sauce was high quality. Second pizza was a margarita. Ordered this one regular, not charred. Cooked perfect. Nice basil flavor and again the sauce is excellent. I always order pizzas uncut, because nothing kills a pizza more than being in a box for to long. I live 30 minutes away. Plenty of time to murder a sliced pizza. Crank my oven to 500 placed unsliced pizzas in for 4 or 5 minutes and there back to the living. Highly recommend sauce for neopolitan style pizza. Real...
Read moreThis place is disguised as a sweet little candy and ice cream place dressed in a pink and white awning. Inside is the most authentic Neapolitan pizza outside of Italy that we have found. This is wood fired and made with OO flour and fresh ingredients. The Margherita pizza is fantastic and even better than some that we have had in Italy. This style pizza is different than most of those made here and has a thinner crust with a simple tomato sauce. For those unfamiliar with this style, don't expect a pizza highly seasoned and loaded with ingredients. This is so much better! They also have a fantastic tomato salad with fantastic flatbread. The owners are very welcoming and always check to make sure that everything was to your liking.Oh, they do have gelato but we haven't tried it yet. I am afraid that people drive by and have no idea that this place...
