Ponderosa Garden Center — Attraction in Eastham

Do not - I repeat - do not use this company to send flowers to anyone.

I used them to send a bouquet of liles to a family member on the Cape for her birthday. I ordered a day in advance from their website and even called them to verify that they received the order and had the correct address. In addition, I gave them a number to call if they had problems.

The birthday passes and I hear nothing from my family member. She usually calls to say thank you. I thought it was strange. The next day I called to say hello and she mentioned that she didn't get any flowers on her birthday. And she was home the entire day! I got no phone call either. And when I called the florist I got an answering machine.

After sending an email, the shop did call me back and send me an email explaining that there was a "computer error" and the order didn't get fulfilled properly. Lovely. So, they decided to not bill me at all (which is why they get a "1" for service) and told me they would send out a bouquet the first thing the next day. Ok, not bad, I thought.

Well, they did send a bouquet. But it was nothing what I ordered. Instead of a pretty bouquet of lilies they sent crappy roses with seashells!

If you care about your loved ones, do not order flowers...
