Complaint Regarding Room Conditions and Price I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your motel. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standard one would expect for this price level. While I noticed that the floors in the room have been updated, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. Specifically: • The bathroom had visible dirt in the corners. • The drain in the sink had old grime. • The picture on the wall appears not to have been cleaned in decades. • There were cobwebs on the lamp. • There was no coffee maker in the room, which is usually standard, especially at this rate. • Although coffee is provided at the front desk, the machine used is quite outdated and, frankly, in need of a thorough cleaning—just like the refrigerator that stores the milk canister. Given these circumstances, I find the rate I paid to be highly inappropriate.

While I agree that the property could be spruced up a bit, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. Location is everything. Everything in our room worked…. It was cool, quiet, and I slept well (I’m someone that usually can’t sleep in hotel rooms). We had our German Shepherd with us, and we were put in the back of a back building. Might seem weird driving back there at first, but the parking lot is practically connected to the Rail Trail. It’s a perfect spot to walk your dog. In fact, after we checked in, I walked straight to Nauset Light Beach, just over two miles away. (After a three hour drive the dog was ready for that kind of walk). The national seashore beaches are some of the only dog friendly beaches on the Cape, and they aren’t easy to access during the day because of the limited parking. That is why this location is ideal.

This place is a mold ridden dump. The rooms appear clean on the surface but they are not. We had to ask room service to clean upon our arrival. Our room was filthy. Stains on the sheets. We ended up buying our own bathroom cleaner to attempt to use the bathroom. It is 1am and it sounds like we have a frat party with junior high wrestlers next door. The smell of mold and mildew cranking out of the 1973 air conditioner in our room is enough to gag maggots. If you want to enjoy your experience on the Cape, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!! PS - the pool is a green cesspool of filth! Looks more like a pond filled with algae. I won’t even go near it to take a picture. 🤢

Stayed here on a bus trip. The rooms have all been redone and I found them decent. Definitely get a room on the parking lot side! People on the back side were in a more wooded area and bugs in their rooms seemed to be a big issue.

While mostly renovated three opportunities for improvement would be (1) replace the entry door knobs - we were given 1 key per room which fit into an ancient typical, cheap residential grade knob that looked decades old - gave no impression of remodeled or any level of security. (2) while I’m sure the mattresses were replaced when the rooms were renovated and were not initially uncomfortable when you lay down, by morning your body was very uncomfortable from sleeping on a cheap, not very supportive mattress. I’m not that particular and hard to please mattress wise so for me to notice this was very unusual. I think they should’ve increased their mattress budget. (3) the showerheads were not impressive and look like they were replaced the last time the door knobs were - decades ago. They were not at all movable and had no adjustments for different flows.

They normally do not offer breakfast, but we were part of a bus tour group that had paid extra for it, so we did have breakfast each morning that included scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes along with your other typical continental choices. Breakfast was good for what it was and well tended to.

Final observation. There is a new mounted headboard with integrated nightstand between the beds. The only (2) plugs available near the bed, are beneath the integrated night stand. Perhaps you can reach them if you’re young and or limber but otherwise it was impossible. We had to find a neighbor with the ability to reach them.

Again, we stayed here through a bus trip. Would I choose to stay here on my own … maybe, maybe not it would depend on what the other options were available. But it’s not a definite no, ultimately it was acceptable if you have a room on the...

If I could give zero stars I would. I am 8 months pregnant, booked two rooms here for two nights for myself and my husband and my sister and her partner. We stayed the first night and I had some pain so intended on going home to Boston to see my doctor. I checked with the front desk if we could even get a partial refund if we went home a night early. She told me we would have to go through Expedia but she would have refunded us if we booked through the hotel. I spent 45 minutes on the phone to Expedia and they said they would give us a partial refund. If we were not able to get the refund, we would have stayed the extra night and gone to a local doctor. We checked out at 11:15 and I told the girl at the front desk it was all organised with Expedia for the refund and she said great. We left immediately back to Boston. The following day we receive an email from Expedia saying that the motel has denied our refund because we checked out late. I called the motel and asked why they said we checked out late. She said we were seen in our room at 1:30. This is a complete lie as we were home in Boston by this time. I was very confused and asked them to check the cameras as we left immediately after giving in our keys. I was polite each time I called to be met with rude staff, who kept telling me they would get the owner to call. I called every day to be told the manager/owner wasn’t there. I called today and the girl who told me that we could get the refund through Expedia said that we would not be getting the refund and they’ve made a final decision. She said once again that we checked out late, which is a lie and the staff are lying so they can keep our money after telling me we could get a refund if it was okayed by expedia.

I am really shocked and disappointed. The motel is average and baths were gross and dirty -...
