We can't say enough great things about the Brickhouse! This is a hidden gem in Eastham. Fully renovated into a nice bar and dining room, the Brickhouse is spacious with high, dark wood ceilings and rustic brick walls. The Iron work on the bar leg rest that wraps the bar is a nice touch. There is an outdoor patio that has 5 round picnic style tables, all equipped with large umbrellas to add shade on sunny days. The menu, filled with pasta, steaks, chicken and local seafood, is the right size to feel there is a choice for many palates, but not so big that it feels unfocused. The owners add a flare of their native Jamaican flavors to some dishes, but it's only an accent, never overpowering. Started with the Lobster Chowder - big cuts of lobster meat - and the Brickhouse salad - they add corn which is a nice change up. The Orange Rum Scallops were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of char and sweetness (awesome mashed potatoes!); the Cioppino was on special - a bed of linguine, loaded with scallops, large shrimp, Cod, mussels and linguica. Full bar and a good selection of draft beers. Worth a visit! We will be back!

My husband and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with dinner here on August 5th, 2023, around 4 pm. The hostess sat us near the fireplace. The fire wasn't lit as it was summer, but it was still very romantic. Our waiter was fantastic the entire time. He was attentive and engaging but not intrusive. We had the coconut shrimp with orange rum marmalade to start. They were delicious. The marmalade added the perfect flavor compliment to the exquisitely fried shrimp. For our main course, I had the Baked Local Seafood, and my husband had the fried clam strips. The Baked Local Seafood was shrimp, scallops and lobster topped with bread crumbs and lobster Newburg sauce, whipped potatoes, and steamed vegetables. This was the most delicious meal I have ever had in my life. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. My food was incredible, my husband's food was incredible. Our compliments to the chef. I can not speak highly enough about this establishment; its great staff, the amazing food, the atmosphere. It made for a wonderful evening for my husband and me and our tastebuds!

The atmosphere was great but it seemed like a restaurant trying to be upscale but falling short. I ordered the pork loin solely because the description said wrapped in bacon and with an apple glaze. There was no apple glaze and no bacon! When we asked the waiter about the bacon they said that some pieces come with bacon and some don't. Wait what? So you pay the same amount but mine didn't come with bacon and others do? Even after we expressed confusion and disappointment to this, nothing was done to make this right. So if you're going to the brickhouse, be aware that the description of the meals might not be what you get and apparently that's normal there. Also the picture attached is showing a double serving of asparagus (instead of mashed potatoes and asparagus). My papa ordered asparagus and he only received two pieces of asparagus so the portions are not that huge.

We stopped by for a late (around 2ish) lunch. At first I was a little worried as it was so empty, but I'm glad we stayed.

Our server was wonderful and attentive; but not in your face. Even though we were sitting outside, she didn't forget about us! (I will note there was only one table inside and another table who sat outside at the same time as us.) Toward the end, it did feel like we were waiting for our check for a little too long, but it looked like our server got pulled to show maybe a new staff member a few things.

The food was really good! I know that some places that serve lunch and dinner can hit the mark with lunch as they tend to make more money with dinner, but the food did not disappoint. We started with the seasoned shrimp and it was delicious and so well cooked. My 8 month old loved it and the fried plantains that came with it.

The fried cod and knuckle blt were really good and the fries and coleslaw were excellent. Great flavors and everything was so well cooked. They even could accommodate my baby with a single meatball off the kids menu. And even that, with no sauce as we didn't want the mess, tasted really good!

I can recommend Brickhouse as a family friendly and tasty spot for lunch!

One thing to note is I am sensitive to strong fragrances, and the inside smelled like someone sprayed A LOT of perfume everywhere inside. So if you're like me, pick a nice day and opt to...

We decided on the Brickhouse because of the extensive menu. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the hostess, who offered us a choice of tables or booths to dine at. The restaurant has an open arrangement but the tables were nicely spaced - not too close together but still providing a comfortable separation. My wife and I wear hearing aids and the ambient noise level was low, even with the open arrangement. This is a BIG plus for us and seniors in the same situation. I had the Jerk Salmon - it was wonderful. The mango-avocado salsa paired great with the salmon, which was tender and moist. The cocoanut rice was flavorful with just the right amount of stickiness, and the vegetables were not over done. It was a great meal. My wife had the orange rum scallops. Again, it was all flavorful and done to perfection. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding meal preparation, and even suggested which beers I might like. She was very attentive but not overly so. She inquired about our meals, removed used plates promptly without being asked and was very efficient. The meal left us full but not stuffed. It was a great evening. I HIGHLY recommend dining at...

The last thing I wanted to do was leave a poor review at a local place on cape. Word-of-mouth can make or break a place around here. I had a great experience the 1st time I ordered from brick house. So much so that I came back with my family a second time to get some take out on a school night. I don't mind meals being a little bit pricey as long as they're worth it. I ordered their steak before and I was happy with it so tonight I did the same thing again. I wanted to substitute asparagus for green beans. When I called in the order they told me that they charge for substitution. That's fine. When I pick up the food they tell me they did not have the substitution I asked for. I go home. I realize when I get there that I paid $8 to substitute 3 sides of veggies even tho they didnt have the sub I asked for. Also they forgot all 3 sides of mashed potatoes. So I paid roughly 30$ a plate for steak I will have to reheat and veggies I didnt want. I ended up going back to get the potatoes and they were kind enough. But now my food is cold. It's a school night and I've had to go back in for to this place twice and dinner is now an hour late, I'll heat this stuff up in the...
