AVOID at all costs! This restaurant is insanely overpriced and does not disclose the cost of your meal on the website or over the phone. Extremely deceiving to advertise a Caesar salad with optional protein add on and to not disclose it is priced at ALMOST $50! The Caesar salad itself was $14 and the lobster meat was $32! My sister also ordered a Caesar ($14) and added scallops as her protein and the scallops add on was priced at $34. INSANE!

Unless you are willing to pay $40 for a lobster roll, nothing here is worth the price anymore. I miss when this spot was the perfect “hole in the wall”, local take-out spot for a good, hearty, fried (or not) seafood meal. I will not be back and neither will the rest of our group after having been exploited. I also kindly suggest they update the google listing to reflect the $50-$100 per person price point instead of $20-30.

(FYI - I did call the restaurant with my feedback and they shared that because they told us the total bill at the end that it was my fault for not requesting an itemized pricing list. There was no empathy or sympathy to be had. Do better,...

Worst experience ever. Considering it is a casual atmosphere there are strict on dress code. The waitress has the worst personality and seemed to dislike her job. I approached a game to win a stuffed animal for my daughter and noticed they allowed people in the establishment ( whom were not dining) just there to also play a game and kill time seeings they had there luggage in hand with a dog whom continued to bark at me and trying to bite my ankle and foot. Owners were to involved in there game to even attempt to tell the dog “No” let alone pull him away from me to not bite me. The lady who seats the customers was on her phone playing and did not see this sadly. When I address the situation with her she said they accommodate dogs per owner rules. Interestingly even the aggressive type? She didn’t see it..probably because you were on your phone. To bad he didn’t actually bite me so I could have sued him …Shameful to do such horrible business. I would not go back especially when there is more then enough restaurants they have better quality food and great customer service. Not...

Our large group ordered a wide variety of things, at a wide variety of quality. Lobster roll was quite good, lots of lobster, not overwhelmed with mayo. Swordfish tacos, and seafood cakes (scallops, fish, and crab) were also good. Lobster bisque and clam chowder were disappointing, but I admit that most of us have a bias toward full flavors. These seemed pretty bland to us. I'd probably make this a four star review, but they really fumbled when trying to fix a mistaken order. Mistakes happen. No big deal. When I went back to get the right item, they were very friendly about it. But then I had to go back 3 times to remind them to make it. And then they wanted to charge me again for the item I was supposed to get in first place, when we had already erroneously paid for a more expensive item. That's pretty poor customer service. Friendly Fisherman, I want to believe you can do better than that. We might go again to give you a...

Wow, what a nice surprise! We have passed by here many times and I never gave it much thought to stop in- really not sure why. I am happy to say I'm glad we did. On a beautiful beach day this week no one wanted to leave the lounge chairs and go out for dinner, but everyone wanted seafood! I volunteered to run up the street ( we were at Campground beach) to the Friendly Fisherman. I returned in less than 25 minutes, I had great service, the food is neatly boxed up individually by order --perfect for handling out at the beach! The fried clam dinner was plentiful, the lobster rolls overstuffed and lightly dressed, and the fish sandwich was hot and fresh. Everything came with fries, and we ordered a side of crispy onion rings for good measure. We were very happy with the entire meal and we will be back for more "beach takeaway" dinners!

Bought some beautiful fresh sword fish at the market. It was the best meal I cooked on the trip. Great spice selection. fish was all beautiful and fresh. I used the Cajun seasoning they sold into my go to swordfish marinade. Grilled it, topped it with with a grilled pineapple salsa, avocado cream and cilantro. Over grilled asparagusari ate in pomace oil theyre lemon juice salt and pepper. Topped with hollandaise sauce (sadly it broke as the stove at the rental couldn't keep a low flame). Served with grilled corn (from the market seasoned with they're cajun) marinated in left over butter milk solids oil and Cajun. Plates are a bit under plated ad I didn't have my plating utensils but the swordfish was out of this word. Will be back next year!

My family has been coming here as long as I can remember. We always get the fried platters or lobster rolls so I can’t speak to the other items. The fisherman’s platter is perfect for 3 people or 2 super hungry people. The seafood is always very fresh and the breading is light especially on the scallops and cod. The market is also great—we will usually get the fried fish for a few meals and fresh oysters and raw fish to cook at home for other meals. We all love the strawberry rhubarb pie too. The lobster roll is also consistently excellent with big pieces of lobster and minimal mayo. This is my top recommendation to friends who visit north eastham.
