The Attic Vintage Marketplace & Consignment — Attraction in Eau Claire

Alot of different items available that cover many types of personal taste. Definitely one of the much, much more expensive places ive been to and with this business being consignment I can understand why but with the amount of vendor spots you'd think they wouldn't charge so much. I believe some things that are cracked, missing pieces should be priced lower than what they're marked at. Especially items that are labeled collectable, vintage, rare, etc. To me when I find items like what I just mentioned I feel they should be sold at a lower price. A knowledgeable collector isnt going to want to pay a ton of money or might not even want to buy them at all. It kind of feels like a rip off if I were to buy it. The lady at check out was just there but didn't really want to be bothered. Friendly just enough to get the job done.The attitude of "i really don't care if you like anything or if you'll be back". We have shopped here many times and have always enjoyed coming in. On this particular day 5/7/23, we spent some time looking around. My boyfriend is the type of shopper that will like something he sees, carry it around for a while and then change his mind. This is how he shops. When we went to the counter to pay for our items, a worker came to the counter and stated to my boyfriend "I see you had other things you were carrying around that you didn't bring up to the counter. " He explained that he changed his mind. It came out as accusatory implying that we were shoplifting and we didn't appreciate it one bit. The only thing he is guilty of would be not putting the item back in the spot he found it. So I heard about this store the attic and someone said they had nice stuff I went in and I did give it a star cause they do have nice stuff but after purchasing a yard glass butterfly and a bracket Iand by the time I got home it was broken I went back to ask if the vendor could help fix it and not only was she rude she said the vendor would not fix it I said could h help me she said I can't return itand she can't help me so I said well ur not gonna get my money anymore and u should not be in business if u can't back up ur product or ur vendor so I hope they go out of business...
