Valleybrook Church — Attraction in Eau Claire

I have attended church here for approximately 10 years now. While it was struggling 3 years ago due to the inappropriate actions of a few of the lead pastors, it has clung to God and is slowly rebuilding. There are good, God and Gospel focused teachings. The worship is also God focused and prepares your heart to hear the message. You will not find a more friendly congregation anywhere, either. I have visited several other churches while my fiance and I were trying to find our home church. We still feel like Valleybrook is home. There is always room for improvement, as we are all human and prone to imperfection. Valleybrook does not shy away from this fact. I used to go here as a kid and loved it when kendal was the pastor. Now they have a new pastor doug who is horrible he has taught his assistant pastor to hate his own mother because god told him to. i spoke to them after service saying i do not think god would suggest a person to hate his own mother they basically said sorry we dont have time for you and led me to the door. the reason he couldnt talk to his mother is because she didnt follow the same church...

Absolutely love Valleybrook Church. It feels so great to feel like Im ‘home’ every Sunday morning as I walk in the doors of Valleybrook, surrounded by wonderful people who love God like I do.
