Danceflow — Attraction in Edgewater

I am so grateful to Danceflow and the amazing teachers and staff for supporting me in my tango journey. I highly recommend Danceflow School in Cliffside Park NJ. The studio is beautiful, with a stunning view of the Hudson River. The dance teachers are not only expert dancers themselves, but also kind, generous, and truly invested in the progress and success of their students.

It has been about five years since I started taking Argentine tango classes here and I was never made to feel like a beginner or like I was in over my head. Instead, the teachers and students alike were patient and supportive as I worked to improve my technique and understanding of the dance. As I progressed and grew in skill, I was given new challenges and opportunities that pushed me to become an even better dancer.

One of the highlights of my time at Danceflow has been the chance to travel and compete in pro-am tango competitions. Thanks to the training and support I received, I felt more and more confident and capable on the dance floor and was able to make lifelong friendships with fellow tango enthusiasts from all over the world.

Not recommended at all.

I've been sending my kids to the ballet class there and they are doing a little recital at the end of the class. When we received the costumes for the show, we noticed that the quality of some costumes were very poor and the measurement/size were so messed up that some kids couldn't even wear them. When one of the moms brought up the issues to the owners, they didn't even try to listen and responded in an extremely rude manner. Just 2 weeks before the show, they sent out an email saying that they are selling tickets to the parents even though they are not renting a recital hall. None of the dance studios sell the tickets to parents unless they're renting a place. If I knew that I had to pay for the show held at their own studio, I would not have signed up for the show in the first place. Only reason that I'm going to go to the show, though, is for my kids who are so excited about it. After the show, I'll never go back to the place.

It's so easy to be nice when everything's okay, but seeing how to take care of the customer's concerns is the best time to see what's really in their mind and how they're looking at...

This studio is a wonderful place to learn to dance with great instructors. I have been coming here for 6 months, driving for one hour to take lessons and coaching lessons with Jevgeni, Ivan and Anna. These young and passionate instructors are worth the trip. The atmosphere in the studio is very friendly, the staff is always there to help you or direct you if you have any questions. I've been dancing Ballroom and Latin for five years now and tried out a few studios in New Jersey (Battista, Dance with Me, Rogers) and this studio is really different. The instructors are very patient with me, they always check how I am progressing as I student and the lessons are fun.
