Poke Zone — Restaurant in Edgewater

Such a gem in Edgewater. After our visit to Chase, we wanted to take a walk along the riverside and saw this new spot right across street. Nice decor from outside. We decided to give it a try. I ordered the pokebowl, my wife ordered the sushi sashimi combo and brown sugar bubble tea! It tastes so good! Pokebowl is very fresh ingredients , large portion, refreshing poke and yuzu dressing ( I have the sauce on the side tho) . The sashimi is the best in town so far that I have ever tried, their sushi really gets me because they don’t use a lot of rice ! The manger or owner, Mae is awesome, (she had a such cute little daughter 👧). Mae told us abt her business theory and how they want to deliver a healthy and fresh food to the community. Great ramen soup it had Japanese mushrooms the crunchy ones with bamboo and I got the Tonkatso fatty beef that is spicy it was so big the bowl I took half of it home and ate it the next day . I also got the chicken Yakitori for an appetizer it was grilled with a sweet sauce on it .This was very delicious. May is the owner and she was so sweet and helped me get my order place is a family run business and they have another restaurant in Ridgewood New Jersey . The restaurant is small but cozy and my dinner was very good . I would definitely come back here . They gave me some ice cream on the house too . This restaurant has a lot on their menu . 1st time here and it will not be the last. Had a Poke bowl, all ingredients super fresh. The sauces were very good also, my favorite was the coconut. Can't wait to try other items on the menu.
