Upon reviewing other reviews, my sentiments expressed below are further solidified.
I am rating this experience with two stars primarily due to the positive interactions with Dr. Wassef and the initial scheduling assistance provided by a staff member. Dr. Wassef effectively addressed my inquiries and provided informative guidance. Similarly, the initial scheduling process was efficient and facilitated my hospital appointment promptly. However, my interactions with the receptionist department were challenging. Despite following instructions outlined in the company's correspondence, there was confusion and inconsistency among staff regarding my request to reschedule pre-admission testing. When attempting to clarify the matter, I encountered resistance and frustration from multiple individuals within the department. Moreover, during attempts to escalate the issue, I encountered further difficulties in communication and encountered resistance to seeking assistance from other personnel. Despite maintaining a calm demeanor and articulating my concerns clearly, I was met with dismissiveness and resistance, which significantly detracted from the overall experience.Ultimately, the lack of clarity and professionalism exhibited by the receptionist department has left me contemplating the cancellation of my scheduled procedure. It is important to note that throughout these interactions, I refrained from engaging in confrontational behavior or using inappropriate language. My communication style remained composed, albeit expressing frustration and seeking clarification.Moving forward, if discrepancies in account arise, I may consider recording conversations to ensure accurate documentation of interactions. This feedback is intended to highlight areas for improvement in communication and customer service within the...
Read moreAbsolutely disgraceful staff. My mom set up an urgent appointment due to a new development in her health. The nicer receptionist called to confirm my mom's appointment. Fine, all confirmed. They sent a text as well. We arrived for her appointment and the nastiest receptionist, who I've never seen before, became immediately belligerent, telling my mom she doesn't have an appointment that day. We made the appointment specifically to address a new health problem. It was an important appointment, which is why the nicer receptionist called to confirm. The nasty receptionist continued blaming my mother saying she must have done something wrong and canceled her own appointment. Why would she do that after specifically making this appointment and then confirming just a couple days before? This receptionist wouldn't back down and was yelling at us, telling us to come back in the afternoon. Why would we come back in the afternoon? She was an absolute mess and when I said I would find a new cardiologist she, a supposedly grown woman, actually blew a raspberry at me like a child. She literally stuck her tongue out & made a noise. I was stunned & we left. My mom, who obviously has heart problems, was very upset. Why do you hire people like that? Who's accountable? Blowing raspberries at...
Read moreDr Novach is a wonderful doctor who takes great care of his patients. This review is meant for the staff at the front desk.
Front desk, please take note. IF the doctor is going to be LATE, and you DONT know when they're arriving "due to unforeseen circumstances," CALL the patients that are scheduled that morning BEFORE they waste their time driving there. NO one wants to drive to the office only to be told "the doctors running late and we don't know when he'll arrive, would you like to reschedule or wait an indefinite amount of time?"
You have phones. Please respect the patients time and use the phone when you know the doctor is going to be indefinitely late & you have no clue how long before they arrive. If we were to cancel an appointment last minute or be an hour late, you would charge us a fee, so please have the respect to give us...
